There was sort of a letter drought in season 3. Any letter would lift her spirits ^^Hope you enjoyed!

The other would be from Pinkie, written by Spike, so it looks like usual and not... well... Earth Ponies just shouldn't write a letter to a princess on their own ^-^

Maybe they sent last season's letters with the mail? Though I doubt a certain mail mare knows what went wrong...
Or the mail stallion from "Putting Your Hoof Down" delivered them all to Fluttershy's cottage.
Come to think of it, Equestria's mail service is a mess (no offence Derpy...no, please dont cry...here, have a muffin). I guess Magic Mail and Dragon Delivery works more reliable.
