I find them to be very useful HM slaves
Starters can usually hold 4 HM moves! So two of the right kind and you have all HM's on two pokemon
Currently I use Empoleon (it has the eeveelution "eon" ending, lol!) and aerodactyl (not a starter, but it can hold the rest )

I have a special love for starters =^_^=
I like them best after the eeveelutions
Then legendaries
And all cat-like pokemon I guess

All my cats are doing fine =^_^=
Umbreon is turning out to be a HUGE cat!!

But I've experienced the greatest thing yesterday!
My brother's cat gave birth! And for the second time in my life she wanted to give birth in my lap!!! O_o
I feel so honored!!!

She got 4 little ones, and I'll be visiting them daily =^_^=

It wasn't hard to make them stand
I just cut the eevee's out of the paper, then sat them there
I hold the bottom Eevee's back foot between my fingers and make them rest on the finger behind it (luckily the paper was stiff enough so it didn't bend over)
