Description

This is Wanru, one of my characters (and my waifu char.)

This is her more mechanical form, there is a more "biological" looking version of her. (human looking arms, legs, hands, feet, and torso.)

I actually like this look over the older version, so I'll keep tweaking and improving this version now on. I'll upload some pictures of her previous form, and the modifications I've done since I exported this image.

Wanru was the first humanoid character I drew in Sketchup (started back in June,) every thing you see of her was manually drawn and extruded by me in Sketchup using her 2D kisekae version and some old anatomy drawings found online. Her face is "smooth" as it doesn't have articulatable eyes, eyebrows or mouth. The expression is a "projection" of her face from the Kisekae2 flash game, I later made a Gimp file that has many of the mouth expressions, eye positions and such. The reason why I made it in gimp was to make it quicker to make expressions without having to load Kisekae up then take a picture and then crop it to the dimensions needed to fit.

Weight: 264 lbs. (~136 if she was human.)

BWH: 35d*-25-38** (Hips are probably smaller because the mechanical legs are slightly smaller than the other version.)

- Wanru is a Mechaniterran gynoid (an Earth 'born' mechanical humanoid. Gynoid; the female compliment to 'android'.)

- Wanru is her nickname, and that was derived from her model series (W4) and "National Robotics Union" of which her Father & Mother mentors were members of. Wanru came up with it herself when she was young. Her close friends often call her "Ruru or Lulu as it's easier to say."

- Wanru's mentors are Terrence Foster & Wendy Foster.

- She often visits her "Mom & Dad"

- Wanru's components were mostly manufactured by Bell/Furst Technologies (made up company.)

- Her specific model # is W4-B34-603-368-L785, and serial # is W4-0063-859GR

- Her Actual name is Clara Monica Foster. (Mechaniterrans usually hold their mentors' last name as they are like parents.)

- Wanru started her life on September 20th 2020. (The main bulk of the story takes place from 2035 onwards.)

- Wanru achieved the "Adult Mental State Level" at the age of 4. (Not uncommon for Mechaniterrans as they mature faster than biological humanoids.)

- Her mental/physical age is somewhere in her mid twenties

- Her original purpose was to work in agricultural occupations, she specifically chose to work at "Lilly's Floral & Garden" a floral shop and small tree nursery in Witlak Minnesota.

Some story lore:

Mechaniterrans can purchase body components to upgrade or add functionality to themselves, in some cases they can build their own.

Originally when Wanru went out into the world her body from the neck down was all metal. Eventually Wanru got an upgrade so she can eat and taste food. This came with a body (the torso specifically) that is was what you see in the picture. This was a lower cost version of a biolog style body as it was only the torso, thus was cheaper than getting the whole change were her arms and legs would have to be changed too. even so she'd still have a the "choker" on her neck as that's actually a "Neck Socket" where she can unplug her head. Most mechanoids have this functionality, but not all. The reason to have the socket is mostly for maintenance purposes.

When a Mechanoid's body needs repair or regular maintenance they bring it to a service center to do so. While their body is getting work done, the mechanoid is given a "loaner body" to use. The loaner is not much more than a mechanical skeleton with exposed servo mechanisms, batteries and cabling, although not every center has this basic of a unit and some are a bit "fancier." These bodies can be adjusted to fit the mechanoids original physical shape and size to reduce disorientation.

- With the ability to eat food she can derive some energy for her self that she can use to charge her auxiliary batteries.

- Wanru can charge herself from most electrical systems varying from 12 volts to 480 AC or DC current. She has a power inlet in her lower back just above her butt.

- Out of the things Wanru eats she likes: pizza, ramen, beef stroganoff, fish, enchiladas, and Indian curry.

- Out of the things Wanru drinks she likes: cherry soda, orange juice, draft beer, vodka, and chocolate malts.

- Wanru has a fairly eclectic taste in music but has an affinity for Jazz, reggae, 70s/80s electronic pop, blues, & country music.
- Wanru has hobbies in electronics, amateur radio, and photography/videography.

- Wanru can detach her arms and legs at will, she does this sometimes as party trick.

- Wanru has two extra arm sockets if she ever wanted to have more than two arms, which can be useful for somethings. Although another set of arms is kinda expensive, but I won't go to say it'd cost an arm and leg... (I'll see myself out...)

- Wanru's right ear antenna is used for 2.4 & 5.8 GHz WiFi and CDMA (cell) radios. Her left ear antenna was originally a twin to her right, but now has a dual band (2m & 70cm) "rubber duck" amateur radio antenna. She replaced the old WiFi/CDMA radio for a wide-band SDR transceiver. This can cover 100 KHz to 6 GHz and puts out a max of 500 mW of power and has 3 programmable low pass filters.

- Wanru wears glasses on occasion for aesthetic purposes.

- Wanru has a pair of robotic Kalmykian ears (cat ears) that she can plug into her head (and she can use them as functional ears.)

- Wanru's hair does grow, this was added when she got her body upgrade.

+ She had to stay at the service center to get that set up.

+ The hair is partially generated from the food she eats.

- Wanru has a younger sister named Kella.

- Wanru has an "ATV" mode where she can attach herself to a motorized cart of sorts, this can be useful sometimes for work, although she prefers to ride her motorcycle for day to day and leisure travel.

- With her newer body she can simulate breathing. This isn't just a way to make her seem "alive" but also acts as a part of her bodies coolant system. She also has a "heart" which is just her coolant pump that "beats" like a real heart. Her coolant system reaches to her arms an legs and to her palms, but not her finger as they're too small to fit the coolant tubing.

- If a Mechanoid "bleeds out" it won't die, but will have problems cooling their body.

- Wanru has a pregnancy fetish.

- With her newer body Wanru can also partake in other human activities. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  * Wanru can change the size of her bust if she so wants.
  ** Wanru can also make her hips wider, this is useful when she carries heavy or large loads at work such as small trees, sod, soil, or sand bags. Wanru has always had this ability.

> Eventually I'll write up some of the lore on the Terran mechanoids (Mechaniterrans), there will also be needed lore on the alien races in the story's universe as the origin of Mechaniterrans is derived from an alien (Ridrelian) technology. I'm thinking of calling the story universe Moltenverse, Taniverse, or something... you'll find out why it'd be called "molten"verse eventually.

The explanation for the file name, the first number is semi-arbitrary to which picture it is. The letters denote this:

o=original Sketchup image

a=is the "Hidden Line" view in Sketchup and this is used to overlay the lines onto the rendered image.

b=Twilight rendered image (bb= render with bloom effect)

c=Twilight render with lines

d=Twilight render with lines, with empty space transparented.
If a number succeeds a letter that is a render tweak (light change, render method etc...)

      Semi-Personal background info:

/ Wanru is in a relationship with my self-insert character Darius West.

The original idea for Wanru was to see that if I had a girlfriend, what would she look like? Eventually I came up with her, the name was figured by first Typing "W" and seeing were my fingers fell on the keyboard. Quickly I "inserted" her into the story universe. I later made my self insert charater Darius West. Eventually I'll show him too after I refine him some more, and make a 3d version of him too.
