Description
As many people as there are out there who couldn’t decide on Bonnie and Toy Bonnie’s gender I have to wonder whether SpringBon got that a lot when he was newer.
Gender means nothing to a robot.
EDIT 2.0: My SpringBon is non binary get over it. Maybe I phrased my point poorly before, but I'm not gonna reply to comments trying to start an argument.

I understand the weirdness of genderless or the animatronics being male or female, but adventure spring bonnie having long eyelashes kinda threw me off.....I always portrayed springtrap or spring bonnie what have you, as a male....aghh... and I know that long eyelashes doesn't mean it's automatically female, but it threw me off nonetheless..

Actually, the fandom insists that the characters have gender, because Scott himself, their creator, said they're all either male or female. So technically, by Scott's very own word, yes, they kind of DO have to have a gender. My biggest peeve with this fandom is how people can't pay attention to what the creator has set out for us. It's fine if you want to headcanon them as genderless, but don't act like they don't officially have genders. Because they actually do.
I'd also like to point out that rabbits still have a gender. While the animatronics themselves are machines under the costumes, they're given costumes and designs to become characters. The kids don't look at the animatronics and see nothing but a machine. They look at the animatronics and see a character with traits that are meant to be humanoid and relatable. A kid asking the gender and getting a reply similar to "I'm a rabbit" is confusing because that's not a legitimate answer.
Just sayin'.
Also, "asking the wiki," as another person replied, is a terrible idea. The wiki can't even pay attention to the in-game hints for Mangle's gender, so they're hardly reliable to ask for anything.

I also agree with you, on the idea that the originals didn't have genders.
The new ones might, but I just don't think the goldies would.

SpringBon in this image is intended to be a yet-unpossessed but sentient robot, though your point stands that they have no real physical gender.
Technically they could still identify themselves as a certain gender (or be programmed to), but honestly who cares. I'm sure they don't. I'm just sick of everyone arguing over it ya know?
I don't care what anyone portrays any of them as, as long as they don't try to insist they HAVE to be that way. Such an exausting and pointless waste of time, is it not?
