Description So I decided to turn a 1:48 scale A-10 Thunderbolt-II into Powerglide of the Transformers. As you can see, The Fuselage is built, the tires are attached to their respective landing gear, three of the pylons have their rocker-things in and one even has a trio of Maverick Missiles installed on its rails. Due to the lighting, you can only barely see the Kill-mark count I put on the starboard side of Powerglide's nose (a Reprolabels Decepticon logo white/clear crossed out with a black line and four white tally marks to represent the four G1 Decepticon tanks I could think of since A-10's tend to be Tank-killers)
This build has been a pain in the ass so far. The kit itself started out in dark green and I learned the hard way during this build how useful Primer can be when painting dark green plastic bright freaking red, the Stabilizers (not pictured) had to be repaired with some spare sprue I happened to have on hand when the connecting plastic broke, and the project sat half-finished for over 2 years before I picked it back up this weekend. Oh, and I had lost the Instructions midway through the build, so I had to get a second, newer kit to reference the Decal placement since I'm not an expert on the whereabouts of most of the decals. Next things to do; the Landing gear panels.
The tail end of this build is resting on a block because I neglected to add some weight to make sure the engines didn't weigh the tail end of this thing down (on the real plane, the guts of the GAU-8 Avenger cannon on the front are heavy enough to do that)

Made from Revell-Monogram's A-10 Thunderbolt Kit (the retired 5505 version)
