I love it, Ever since I had to move out of seattle, I've been missing it, infact I've been dying to go back just so I can get a shot from atop of Somerset during dawn dusk and midnight. Much compliments on how the shot came out, it looks great. Makes me hate raleigh that much more for being lame and sucky. Keep up the good work.

That was one awesome lightning display. I remember laying out in the grass and watching the show. You captured it famously! Fabulous shot.

amazingly clear and that lightning adds color interest as night lit cities are always just amber with specks of white a red. the illumination on the clouds is really what got me though, just a little peek at what is ominously lurking in the sky. your choice of crop definately plays on that with so much black and unknown.

I love the way the lightning reflects on the water and clouds and from full veiw the clouds look really impressive. But maybe there's a bit too much to make it look nice in the thumbnail. But it's still a great picture, congrats

Fantastic shot - I love the crispness of the lights, and the massive amount of negative space at the top of the shot. Lightning is pretty hard to photograph, and you've done an awesome job.

I knew I'd see some photos of that night. Yeah I remember it like it was yesterday. Could hardly sleep that night because there was a flash inside my room every minute. I live in Newcastle which is pretty close to where most of the lightning was happening. I only wish I had a camera with manual exposure control...

That is INCREDIBLE! The capture is amazing! The buildings and all those tiny little lights. The reflections on the water..What literally cut my breath is the form and color of the clouds up on the right..So hostile..
The lightings of course gorgeous..
