Encore is a lover of parties, his favorites being raves. He is very in tune with his Raver pony side and he loves glow sticks. He is nocturnal and is only awake at night. Given his bat pony (?) heritage, he is often looked at strange by regular ponies, but he doesn't let it phase him. He is chilled and laid back. His favorite type of music is disco and pop. He is a great dancer, but can't walk normally very well, given that he is extremely clumsy. It's for this reason that he will most often be seen hovering when he's not dancing.
