Why not? I mean, if comedy-horror-growing up-sci fi-fantasy-action-author being a constant asshole to his fans isn't your thing, then yeah, I guess so. Homestuck's strange and its weird plot shit makes very little sense to even the fans. Although, fanart isn't what you should go off of. Well, i've finished drawing Patchwork Hue, but Inkspots still needs to be drawn. I'll probably end up completely changing his tail because his talent + the Twilight tail will just make him a Twilight Sparkle ripoff, and i'm trying to turn them into tolerable characters. They'll definitely both still look off, but they look tolerable.

The changes really range from dulling colors to dropping parts entirely(like Inkspots is going to be a unicorn instead of an alicorn, and the antennas on Patchwork are gone). I've managed to work the black spot on Inkspots and the small blue square on Patchwork into cutie marks, and i've thought of a proper backstory for Patchwork's scar.
