I'm guessing the flower was just given to her by a certain red, beaked gargoyle.after all the pictures of Brooklyn I drew, I figured I might as well use the inspiration to also draw Katana.
I don't know a lot about Japanese kimonos, though I think depending on the event in which it's being worn, there's a certain way it's supposed to be tied....not having a clue as to what those styles were, I just made up a design.
I love her design in terms of just her, but I don't like her official clothes or hair style, so I tweaked them.
I didn't want to leave the background blank, so I quickly put in a stereotypical cherry blossom tree
The rest of the background sucks; it looks better in reality, but the colors are definitely uneven
I'm hoping my drive to draw "Gargoyles" fanart lasts long enough for me to dish out a picture of Brooklyn and Katan together...

Not often I see traditionally colored work in my feed- this turned out great! So awesome Katana was well received by the fandom. You definitely did her justice. Hooray for wings and the right number of fingers!
