Backstory:

She was raped by her uncle's friend when they were drunk and taking care of her at the age of sixteen. She got pregnant, kept the baby, and was kicked out since her uncle threatened her so she wouldn't tell and her parents were highly religious. She had a son about a month before she turned seventeen, and named him Matthias. He's now 5 and nobody will take her into their businesses because she has no college degree and had to drop out of high school. Sometimes she wishes she hadn't kept the baby but she loves him with all her heart. She works as a prostitute to make money so she can provide for him to go to a safe day-care in the city they live in and so she can afford their apartment. She knows she probably isn't the best role-model for her kid and wishes things were different, but for now she can't find any other way to get by.
