While away for a while I wanted to practice drawing. I'm not the best. Thoughts?

Spartan 105 was posted in the outer colonies to repel rebel forces.

When news came that the Covenant has destroyed the planet Reach, all UNSC forces were pulled back to earth. However the colony was under siege by a Covenant armada after one day when news of Reach came. Striking at 11:56 A.M. on the planet, UNSC forces assigned to the colony began evacuation.

Sitting across a squad of Marines, Spartan 105 couldn't help but feel some resentment towards the UNSC for abandoning the outer Colonies to die. While in that thought process, seven Banshees intercepted the Pelican that was carrying the Spartan.

"BRACE YOURSELVES, BOYS!!! WE GOT COMPANY!!!" yelled the Pilot.

Getting up from his seat towards the cock pit, Spartan 105 said to the Pilot: "Maneuver back to the surface!"

Pilot replied: "What?! We can't go back! If we go back we'll be stranded! We'll die"

Spartan 105: "Then we'll die with the colony! These people were counting on us for protection! YOUR A SOLDIER! NOW MANEUVER!"

Without further argument the Pilot dodged a volley from the Banshee's, only to be met by two more groups of Banshees firing upon them. One of their engines was hit, Pilot was dead, Marines gripping tight on their seats. Spartan 105 took over the controls of the Pelican. It was futile to escape the planet now. Their only option now was to crash land.

>After the Crash<

Regaining conscious after the crash, Spartan 105 felt searing heat all over his armor. He quickly stood up and saw nothing but flames around him. The Marines were no where to be found, most likely burned to a crisp. All that was left of the Pelican was the interior of the ship. It was now night time around 9:27 P.M.

Checking the wreck of the crash site, all he could find was a mostly intact Assault Rifle with a full clip. Loading his weapon, salvaging whatever is left, Spartan 105 is now taking action in his own hands to protect the colony the best he can.

A Covenant drop ship was now dropping in to check the crash site.

"Well....." said Spartan 105 "Looks like it's going to be hot".
