The Republic of Emmeria is a country in the continent of Anea. Its neighbors are the Federal Republic of Estovaia to the north and the Kingdom of Nordennavic to the northwest.Emmeria was among the nations that were devastated by the War of 2016 and one of the founders of the Earth Space Defense Force. (Part of my Strangereal-ID4 Fanfiction series)

Much more likely the Republic of Italy, given the nation's geography and the heavy use of Italian place names as well as weaponry used by the Italian armed forces. Also note the use of Italian language in an official AC6 New Year wallpaper and the reference to "gelato" by Emmerian troops in the level where Emmerian troops launch an amphibious landing on Khesed. Also, "Emilia" was a province in northern Italy.)
