Colored version of a line drawing I have in here somewhere.Still practicing with computer coloring.
I think all the official G1 Sludge designs have those horn/ear things sticking out of the top of his head, but the actual G1 toy does not.
I just decided to go the toy "bald helmet" design for no particular reason.
I've always disliked Sludge's dinosaur mode.....
specifically, his really short stubby legs.
I really wanted him to have 4 long legs
like a real apatosaurus/brontosaurus would have 'ala the "Walking With Dinosaurs" TV show.
For this re-imagining of Sludge
I was thinking about Alfonso Elric's armor design from Full Metal Alchemist for some reason.
I think it turned out OK.
