I cannot tell you how much I sincerely hate my scanner. I think inking is my next step, but digitally going over the lines won't be far behind.

So, did anyone else know that Der Erlkonig is actually Draft #2 of a legend?*

Before our collective-nightmare that is The Alder King was the terror of the night, there existed his daughter. Der Erlkonig Tochter lingered in the wood, luring in men into the wood to eat their hearts in lust and revenge.

Lettie reminds me very strongly of this myth, which I have become terribly fond of (afraid of).

The Turkey Vulture, still very young and without the naked head and neck of older vultures is Letitia's animal, and one that I have found I seriously love drawing. They're found everywhere across the United States, though I haven't checked if they have South American or European counterparts.

I'm trying out new styles, I think I actually really like this one, though there's some kinks to work out of it. (L keeps saying it looks like she's a man D: )
