(okay so the first time I submitted this the preview didn’t work at all so...had to make it a different format so here we go trail 2)Got this done a while ago but didn’t get to uploading it till today.
This is my attempt at drawing fanart of Fruits Basket/ Furuba by Natsuki Takaya. I think I did a pretty alright job at this seeing as how I really tried to go out of my way to focus on each person separately before moving on to another person. I was trying to hard to have each person have their own unique detail of their own from each other. (Trying to pick colors for Momiji’s clothes took so long) Although doing so made the completion of this take a very VERY long time. @_@ I got frustrated a lot and blanked out several times but I finished it!
Starting from Top left going right to left: Uotani Arisa, Hanajima Saki, Souma Akito, Souma Kureno, Souma Kagura, Souma Ritsu, Souma Momiji, Souma Hatori, Souma Shigure, Souma Yuki, Souma Hatsuharu, Souma Ayame, Souma Isuzu (Rin), Souma Hiro, Souma Kyou , Souma Kisa and featured in full body Honda Tohru.
I think the backlash of this piece is that I’m still trying to get the hang of doing backgrounds and I think I did alright but I need to work on that still. The odd side effect of doing this is it seems to have drained me of drawing anything else since the day I completed it. I feel worn out or something. @_@ I’ll get back in the groove later though. =3

Oh actually its from the anime. In the anime Uo is symbolized as being the fish while Saki is the flower. I know they are a specific fish and flower but can’t really remember what though. No worries~

Many thanks~ I used photoshop 7 to color it. I don't think I used as well cause I've seen some things done in photoshop 7 that are really "Whoa how the...."

Maybe after the 16th comes out, cuz it's only coming out in about a month. So.....I heard some interesting things happen in the later volumes!

excuse mi french, but, WTF??????!!!! HOW did you get ahold of one that's ALREADY BEEN TRANSLATED???!!!! Not that I don't believe you; 2 years ago I got a special screening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 2 weeks before it came out.... I know things like that are possible! I guess I'll just have to wait until April when the 16th comes out.... lol. When do u turn 23? I turn 14 May 14th.... ain't that special! 14 on the 14th! THat's kinda why mi parents are taking me to florida for spring break! It'll be mi first time on a plane, first time in florida, and mi first time to seaworld and stuff! ^^ me happy! lol. thanx for making me feel better. I do happen to think the red IS pretty, it just gives it an original touch! Hey, would you mind commenting on one of my drawings? The only person that comments on them is my bff, who does it cuz I tell her to.... but, you MUST be a fan, considering how well you did this (I also noticed your other drawings)! Are you siked for volume 16 that's coming out soon? I am, because after that, vol. 17 says the Akito is a girl, and I think Hiro and Momiji get released from the curse after that! I mean, the curse was lifting; Kureno got released 10 years ago! Ah, I better stop talking before I go on and on about Kureno, cuz I'm the year of the rooster! He makes me happy! ^^
