(okay so the first time I submitted this the preview didn’t work at all so...had to make it a different format so here we go trail 2)Got this done a while ago but didn’t get to uploading it till today.
This is my attempt at drawing fanart of Fruits Basket/ Furuba by Natsuki Takaya. I think I did a pretty alright job at this seeing as how I really tried to go out of my way to focus on each person separately before moving on to another person. I was trying to hard to have each person have their own unique detail of their own from each other. (Trying to pick colors for Momiji’s clothes took so long) Although doing so made the completion of this take a very VERY long time. @_@ I got frustrated a lot and blanked out several times but I finished it!
Starting from Top left going right to left: Uotani Arisa, Hanajima Saki, Souma Akito, Souma Kureno, Souma Kagura, Souma Ritsu, Souma Momiji, Souma Hatori, Souma Shigure, Souma Yuki, Souma Hatsuharu, Souma Ayame, Souma Isuzu (Rin), Souma Hiro, Souma Kyou , Souma Kisa and featured in full body Honda Tohru.
I think the backlash of this piece is that I’m still trying to get the hang of doing backgrounds and I think I did alright but I need to work on that still. The odd side effect of doing this is it seems to have drained me of drawing anything else since the day I completed it. I feel worn out or something. @_@ I’ll get back in the groove later though. =3

I am forever changing my wallpaper on my computer.
This piece was just so cool when I saw it I just had to make it my wallpaper.
I have only recently gotten into Fruits Basket and I love it.
I have only seen about 13 of the episodes but I have read 18 volumes of the manga.
I have not gotten to volumes 19 or 20 even though I have them and I just finished downloading Fruits Baskt anime. I wish they would make another season of the anime becuase I do not want it to end.
The only Furuba fanart I have done is one of Kyo which is in my gallery.

wow, this is really well-done! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this. I like how everyone's expressions match their personalities (except maybe Tohru, she looks somewhat...scared...) nice colouring job too, esp the hair (so shiny 
the background looks fine. you have so much going on the the foreground that it's good to keep the bg simple.

Thank you thank you! Oh yep I tried to get everyones expressions right but on Tohru...I wasn’t sure if I wanted her to smile or be concerned...I wasn’t really sure. I sort of went for the “ I’m uncertain about my feelings or what to do about the curse hrm...=o” look. I thought about making her smile but then I figured a lot of people are smiling as is. 
Hrm...didn’t think of it that way but I guess you’re right. Everyone in it makes up for the simple background. ^^

you have very impressive cging skills as well, especially in areas such as the hair and various patterning in clothing/background/etc.

thank you very much! Too true. I’m happy that I stuck with it and didn’t give up all the many many times I could of. I’m still learning to CG and figure out what icons can do what. (Can’t seem to figure out custom brushes for anything) I love doing hair though. I went straight for the hair before everything else. I think I did the best I could do with this piece before I ended up ruining it. ^_^;;Thank you so much again for the +fave!

Hehe Thank you very muchie. Yar I was trying really hard to make them look the way they...well..look. I was trying to mesh how they look in the anime and in the manga together. Detail pays off after all the pain it seems!
