Description
This past weekend was the graduation cerimony for the 8th graders in the confurmation class that I teach. And no, I'm not catholic. In technicality, I'm agnostic... But, I teach a confurmation class for a Congragationalist church that my family attends.
Anyways, on confurmation sunday, they are presented to the church and then are given stoles to symbolize that they are members of the church. And on one side of the stole is a symble that we as advisors give to the student to represent them. They are diffrent every year. So I'm going to share some of them, and give you a little description as to what they are..

I believe this one went to Sam. He's an awsome kid! Really he's just great. The Owl shows wisdom, honor, observation of everything going on around. Quite and swift. Which is kinda him. He's so smart (for his age) and yet he's increadbley timid, you almost don't know he's there... HE reminds me a little bit of my self at that age... even some now...
