Care about what, specifically?Β  The fact that trans people are r*ped, murdered and abused at extremely high rates by people they know, and strangers in the streets simply for the fact of being trans?
I'd be mad, too, in fact I would drop you out of my life completely after that.

And you said 'she', are they a trans WOMAN or a trans MAN, because if they were born a girl and they're trans they'd be a man- in which case you also misgendered them.

I'm not sure how well the site explained it, but a simple way of putting it is a transgender person is someone who's gender doesn't align with the sex they were assigned at birth. I hope this helped!
