This photo really is a downgrade on my growing improvement; it didn't exactly come out the way I wanted it to.
I spent all day shooting, I cut open the back of my leg with my shoe heel, I threw my extremely heavy metal camera stand into my ankle, I stabbed myself in the back with my bath faucet, and I pulled so many muscles in my legs from posing.
And the picture doesn't even express any of that work.
I'm actually extremely bummed at how poorly finished this piece is. But that's what I get for rushing, being lazy, and sloppily putting work together.

I would appreciate some nice constructive criticism.

It may not be your greatest shot, but that's art for you. Practice makes perfect. Artists make mistakes, and they learn from it. But despite all of the faults, it's still a great shot. I love the colors in this...My bathroom is too dull for a picture like this haha.

This definately was a growing experience, especially since I'm still getting into the swing of using this new camera without an LCD screen for a view finder, plus having to use a shutter remote instead of pressing the 10 second timer and falling into position.

Oh, jeez. Haha. My camera's shutter speed is really slow. So for even a normal picture with no flash it gets really easily blurry. So for a ten second auto timer, I have to be basically like a board. And it's really hard. I'm trying to find a way to make my shutter speed faster, but I might just need to get a new camera some how. *sighs*

if you take out the shutter remote and lean back in a more comfortable postion maybe, i think it would have been a great shot especially with all the colors, its really just the shutter remote that distracts the viewer from the emotion of the photo.

But of course, it just so happens that the best photo of the shoot displayed the remote in the most unremoveable placement. I attempted to edit it out, came very close to succeeding, then ended up with a mutated looking right hand.

=/ well too bad you didnt have someone with you to help you take it because it would have been a great shot without the remote...or did you try using a timer? maybe using the timer would have worked..

What kind of camera do you use, and how much did it cost?
The picture is nice, it's not really the type of thing I like but as far as photography goes its not too bad. Everyone has an off day ^^

Considering the photo details says: camera model: Canon EOS 30D, I would say that I use a Canon EOS 30D.
On the cost: I don't know. It was a Christmas gift from my dad. Do a little research; it's well worth the money.

I know how it is to not like your own art. But if you wouldn't have brought it up, I would have just suspected you wanted to have the remote in the photo. I like the picture overall, the green shirt and pink backround contrast nicely.

i think your editing is done VERY nicely, but the remote should not be in the photo and maybe since you were looking at ur hand, it should have been holding something? i love the colors though. good job. keep it up. maybe try again another day

Yeahhh... the remote. Damn the remote.
It was at this point in shooting, I quit trying as hard; I got a better looking photo (as in angle, pose, expression, etc.) than when I was trying, but with that, I cared less to attempt to hide the remote.

The shadow on the soap holder looks a little harsh, and maybe not be holding the camera remote? Otherwise it's a good shot.
