This day was crazy. I made the super unprofessional move of being a procrastinator and not scouting out my location until the very last second (literally). We originally planned to shoot at an abandoned greenhouse that Kevin Longwell (shout out!) had shown me, but when I went out two hours before our meeting time to check out the location, I found it had been completely demolished. I immediately texted anyone I've ever done a shoot with locally to see if anyone knew of any other abandoned locations. Dave and I drove through the Middle of Nowhere to find an abandoned dairy, only to find the structure was likely too small and too dark to control my lighting. So we drove some more out to a Nowhere location to a burned down school house structure I had once shot at before. It started pouring rain (hot rain) and lighting all across the valley in 95+ degrees weather. We waited it out and by the time the band got there, the rain had passed in the other direction. We got threatened to have the cops called on us if we were found tagging (as if more tagging on the place was really going to hurt anything). Thankfully no cops showed up and we had a fantastic shoot!
