Description
These were pictures were originally taken for my papercraft collection, but I liked these 2 so much I thought they deserved their own spotlight.Howl's Moving Castle (left) is almost 50cm (19") and Howl's Flying Castle (right) is about 30cm (11"). Both castles are made completely out of paper, both also have moving parts.

Thanks! I keep 99% of the models I build in my collection. The only ones I don't have are ones that I've made for family/friends as gifts.

I turn some of the picture I take of models into posters, t-shirts and phone cases on my Redbubble/Society6 that people can buy. Papercrafting was always a hobby for me so making a profit was never a goal. I'm glad and surprised people have embraced my art as much as they have. When I started building it was a very rare thing to see a papercraft anywhere,not to mention a DD on deviantart. I also don't think I could ever part with the models that I choose to build, I build them because I want to see them displayed in my room or see it when I'm working at my desk. It's an easy an inexpensive hobby to get into, papercrafters are always adding to the models that you can build simply because they love it.

Whoa! Did you create these like how origami is made, or did you glue the paper to wires inside?

It's pieces of paper glued together, there are some folds that make shapes but it's completely hollow inside.

The wings move on the flying one and the tongue, eyes, mouth, wheels/gears, pipes and the cannon tower things move on the other one.
