Description
Link is a life size papercraft model standing around 5'5. He is made completely from 250 gsm paper (about 4x stronger then normal paper). He has foam core supports in the top and bottom of his pants, top and bottom of his boots and a ring in his waist. There is also some in the back of his shield, and in the handle of the master sword.He can be easily unassembled for transportation. His head, torso, legs, sword, shield, and sheath are all separate. The sword can also be put into the sheath or into his hand. He can stand all on his own without any support.
Link is made from 250+ pages, the initial template is 198, but there are layers of strips of paper inside for support, and 831 pieces. I worked on him constantly for a month, working approximately 12 hours each day but sometimes that number could go up to 20.

Okay. Never let it be said that artists do not work.
This is pretty cool, and being someone who probably has neither the patience nor the diligence needed to make something like this, I'm not sure I can properly criticize it without looking like a jerk. That being said, I'm going to do so anyways, but not before emphasizing that this is not only an incredible work of art, and that it's clear a lot of work went into it, but also that the sheer amount of detail is incredibly stunning. I hope to encounter more art like this as I continue to look for it.
Anyways, on with the criticizing that hopefully comes across as potential improvement advice and not "watch me troll the fandom" jerkness. Just judging from the picture, the eyes seem flat somehow, and the mouth is a little wider than it should be...if you ever feel like improving it, those would be the areas to start with. Good work!

I made just the shield about 2 years ago and it turned out great! I had to put some kind of support around the edge but it was nothing a bunch of whittled down 1 inch Popsicle sticks couldn't fix!
