lmao, i hate all the naked stock photos getting DDs.
but i mean it, it's just some naked lady posing and then the members are like:
much skill! much depth! much originality!

you forgot: "such wow" Β
Yeah I think its the mainstream media getting creativity to such low levels, that people think a half naked body partially well photographed is already art....
But well back to topic, that one here really is creative and well looking for me even though I never looked Totoro ...shame on me
The idea is nice and it looks great.
Well done there

I like the other art made by StudioTamago too, especially the water ones.
It puzzles me how the water ones are made though.

Yeah that ones also give me the creeps Β
I would assume its some kind of 3D rendering.
I couldn't guess something else, but well I'm not really that into creating art myself to know these things.

I see this kind of stuff all the time to be honest. At least it was creative enough to use Totoro as n Outline, so kudos on that. Makes it a bit more unique.

Great you see this all the time. For me it's the first and it's not like I have nothing to do with creative stuff and aren't doodling on DA half of my day and/or night when I am better off doing other stuff...
Nya. How do you get to melt the crayons without damaging the paper around?
Or is this a second set pasted on?

I see it in school all the time. Art Students are always doing this. I used to see them on the school buses all the time when I was a kid, and I still see it in college too.
Not sure where your attitude is stemming from, but I didn't offend this person. Just stated that i see it all the time. And I do.
I still think it's creative that they used a Totoro outline. Like I said, that makes it more original in my opinion.
I state facts, not hate. If you don't like it, then don't reply, and you are free to ignore my post(s). No one's forcing you to reply sweetie.

Sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. But you're right. I do sound like it somehow. O.o
I am really sorry bout that. I just wanted to state, that its not like this for everyone. For me this was something new.
Not the technique itself but the way it was expressed. That was actually what I wanted to say. XD
And that's what is important, isn't it? =^.^=

Same. I'm in gr12, and I saw about 3 ninth graders make the melted crayons piece. My teacher and some of my classmates just scoffed, because by gr12, we'd already seen this done, over and over again.

This is not a problem and I admire your candor. I like the idea of ββtaking techniques well known to adapt to new things. But you're right, this technique is often used. ^ _ ^
I'm glad you like the idea.

I do like it. My Neighbor Totoro was one of the first anime movies I ever watched. I watched it when I was in the 4th or 5th grade. That was like, in 1998. XD

Nice overly used concept there. This must of been the 16th time I've seen something like this?

Originality is dead. It's a well played peace, take the time to appreciate it. No artist here wants negativity without construction.

How are you to expand to a constructive argument when you see this visual piece produced at least once every month.
Ok, here is some helpful tips...
Don't look at the front page of Deviantart anymore.

You expect originally? You shouldn't look at the front page yourself in that case. Popular ideas are recycled ideas.
