Fanart piece done for AttackOfTheFlash of their characters Sabre (Bisharp) and Blu (Gallade)! I really enjoyed this piece, kept the background looser and honestly I really like how it came out. The focus on shapes and layout before building up really helped, which is something I've been working on so it's nice to see it paying off. In general I've been trying to build up from a base sketch that includes color and shading, and while it's still confusing at some points (my mind immediately wants to jump to details) it's been teaching me a lot. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
