I hope this is a good thing?? it's a blur of a person tearing down a newspaper wall.

I like the atmosphere of the pic.
But really it was just ambient until u told me what it was of.

Now I suppose I see.

But...I am not normally so blind to such things. My imagination is perhaps more interpretive than anyone I know's!

I mean I can stare at an inkblot for hours (or my bedroom ceiling)

but as for this photo...

Huh.

mmmm.....well.....we should always be challenged yes?

olpha In reply to stumbleine-one [2005-11-19 05:22:12 +0000 UTC]

Now do u mean that I should be challenged in interpreting?

...Or that the artist should be challenged in making things more distinct?

Cos I liked this piece, even b4 u had to explain to me what it was.
I think it's brave.

The newspapers make a really interesting background, and the hair makes an interesting form for the eye to follow, it's hard to imagine that there is a person in the black (longer exposure portraits are always sweet!). Nice work!

Most people who saw that print had no idea it was a person so props to you. as for the hair, I think that is just part of his face because he doesn't have long hair. how that turned out? thank long exposures haha.

Thank you!

Fantastically done. I don't know how you managed to capture that moment, but I'm sure glad you did! It takes skill to get pictures like these.

no problem. I felt a kindred spirit with the newspapers. this took a long time. I can only imagine how long yours took.

plus how can I resist a half naked boy? your girlfriend is very lucky as well as take nice photos.

I love this. I really don't know what to say, but this is great and i love the movement! My only suggestion would be decrease the size of this, it's annoying to scroll up and down, left and right when looking at a photo, doesn't give you the full effect that way.

Thank you thank you! In my photo class we had to do a project about tension, any kind of tension. If it weren't for this assignment I probably would not have thought to do something like this. I am definitely grateful!

As for the size, doesn't the photo have to be aleast 4x6? or no? Am I missing something? Let me know because I can't stand large works you have to scroll around on either.

Thanks!

Hehe, yeah school does get out of some good stuff. Though, so far for uni, all the projects we had were to be hand rendered, kinda shitty. But next term we get to learn 3 softwares

And err the minimum in pixels allowed is 288x432 or 432x288, I think you should try a 800x600 that should be nice.
