Shadow is Sonic's older twin and oldest adopted brother to Silver.
Shadow's backstory is kinda sad. He was friends with human girl, Maria, who died when Sonic tried to rescue her. Shadow started to plame himself and Sonic. That's why they were growing apart. Sonic is leader of hero team in Station Square, but Shadow is one of the criminals from other city.
Shadow is antisocial and silent.
Like Sonic, he can control seven powerful gems, and he is better than Sonic in this. Twin's abilities are equal but Sonic has super speed, while Shadow has ability to teleport.

Unlike his canon counterpart, this Shadow wanted to be test subject to make the ultamite lifeform.
