I rarely comment on things, and then just to say: this is fantastic in every possible way!

Haha. They won't be so high and mighty after 400 metal is spent, that's for sure!
I spent half of that song trying to remember whether they were wearing panamas or pork-pies...

Honestly, they look like carnival barkers to me.

Everypony knows that Apperture Turrets have the worst IFF ever, shut down at the slightest vibration and are too easy to knock over. Sure, they fire 65% mor bullet per bullet, but taking their bad aim into calculation, it's worth nothing.

Well, they're also indestructable.

That's funny, they didn't seem so tough after passing them through the Emancipation Grid.
Remember: NOTHING is indestructible.
Besides, you can't upgrade or take manual control of an aperture turret.

Yes, but they're still impervious to conventional weapons, and easily mass-produced.

They only appear impervious to conventional weapons because there aren't ANY conventional weapons in Portal; You have to improvise.

I was kinda working of the assumption that they are functionally identical to the turrets in Half-Life 2.

Half-Life 2 has turrets?! -has never played Half-Life 2 past the first few levels-

They work identically to Portal's turrets, and are completely impervious to anything.

But I assume they're just as easy to knock over and shut down.
Making The Engineer's Sentry superior.
Besides, I doubt that hl2 turrets can shoot rockets.

In fact, it would have been better for the town if the FF brothers won. Less work=less money demanded for cider.

Those lazy flanks taking care of the orchard? They'd ruin it, espacially the zap apples. A fair cooperattion would have been the ideal solution.

We all know those potal turrets are flawed. Besides, there is always a DIFFERENT one.

Aperture were cool at first, then got cheap over time.
The engineer constantly puts care and effort into his work.
This works perfectly.

I feel that the messages of episode 15 are very important and relevant. Though, specifically, in America the issue of replacing manual labor with machine labor is of last century. Now, we've replaced machine labor with extremely cheap manual labor. [link]
