Description
The Spoontoon (in Cleinish Sooguvy) is a polearm or half-pike with a large oval blade (wich resemble a spoon), often with apair of blades or lugs on each side. Such weapon was the favourite of pioneers and border militias in the colonies, as they serve well both against cavalry and wild beasts, while being lighter and less cumbersome than halberds or pikes.
Many colonial governor issued such weapon as standard weapon for regular forces alongside muskets.
