I remember thinking of this one too - I think Alucard would definately be the winner, since he can take more damage. Though, with Dante at full power like at the end of the first game, I do not think even the No-Life King could survive that.

um... you do realize he'd PROBABLY be given access to Level Zero... right?

Yeah, I know Alucard has a lot of powers, and if we are going by him at the end of his series (including having the Cat's powers too), he would be the winner, since Dante could never kill him. Same question applies with Dante, as in which version of him (I mean in the main series, not the reboot) would fight this vampire. However, just considering Alucard's powers up until he technically lost to the Major at the end that war and Dante around the time of DMC 4, I still think Dante would win. Yes, Alucard has a lot of powers at his control, as I have seen you have said on other comments. However, Dante has killed beings that boasted about their immortality too (not to mention Alucard does not even believe immortality to exist), and has taken some deadly blows. Granted, it would take a lot to put Alucard down, but due to how much more power Dante has than Alucard, I think the Devil Hunter would win.Β

NOT TO MENTION A CANONICAL POWER OF ALUCARD'S IS THE FOLLOWING:Β Unable to be Killed as Long as He Wills It
Dante would lose the second Alucard gets pissed off enough to release the 'Hound ofΒ Baskerville' and Level 1... seriously Alucard outweighs Dante by like at least 50 weight classes in sheer POWER alone.
