Someone posted a link to some Michael Turner pencils for people who wanted to practice inking. Mike drew in a style totally different from what I'm used to working with so I thought I would give it a shot. I had a lot of fun because his line work is so unusual and leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Still sad that he is not around.If you click the download you will get a massive 300 dpi version of the file.

I really like the detail in this but at the same time it is its undoing, the lack of contrast makes it a little difficult to make out the image as a whole. You are going to colour this, yes?

This is amazing. The composition and the 'sketchy' yet clear look of the inking give it that original and emotional felling. It's a true work. Seeing this colored would be astounding.
