I recently started watching the HBO series 'Band of Brothers' and it soon became one of my favorite TV shows. It has the perfect mix of an interesting story, complex and realistic characters, gorgeous images and lighting, and even a bit of humor. I can strongly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet!

This is a still from episode six, 'Bastogne', which is told from the perspective of medic Eugene 'Doc' Roe (portrayed by British actor Shane Taylor). Being a perfectionist, I'm not
quite happy with the result. I feel that it doesn't do justice to the character and to this particular scene. In my defense, though, I should point out that I used a rather small and blurry screenshot as a reference picture, so I couldn't make the drawing as detailed as I normally (prefer to) do. In fact, I had initially intended to make a collage of sketches from 'Bastogne', but somehow it evolved into this.

Oh, well. I hope you like it anyway.

And if anyone could find me a high-quality still of Doc Roe in 'Band of Brothers', that would be awesome! Because I've Googled until my fingers hurt and this was one of the best images that I could come up with.
