This was only ever intended to be a quick sketch and was based on a pretty bad picture I took of Jeff when I interviewed him for an educational project.
Jeff was a master of his craft and made some of the most exotic and beautiful pieces of pottery I've ever seen. His trademark was Crystalline glaze on elegant vases, a technique that is pretty rare because of it's technical difficulty.
