Description
Taken at the Del Cerro park hill top in Palos Verdes, California. I like how some people made a reference to "Silent Hill".. when in reality, it truly was. This is my place of solitude where I usually find myself camping from 1am in the morning till dawn. this is where I come to escape.Related content

wow...i feel like i can really compare to this picture right now...
it has a lot of expressions immobilized into the hazy atmosphere
the black and white effect gives it more of a ---word that i can't think of lol
very nice

there's no horizon in this one--- just lost in the transition. seriously, a gorgeous shot.
by drawing power from lonliness, it makes for a very emotional piece.
you're a pro.

This is very appealing if only for the virtical movement of dark to light from bottom to top there... With the gathering fog the further out you look, this makes for a very interesting B&W photograph by itself, in my opinion. Then, of course, there is the addition of the figure. Alone, walking in what I assume to be night, surrounded by fog. What are they doing here? Where were they headed, and what will they do now that they are lost in a sea of moisture and white mist? All mysterious questions that this one photo cannot answer, but the coninuous activity of the viewer's imagination can. That is what a good art photograph DOES. It feeds the mind, requiring work on the part of the viewer to either interpret the meaning, or take it that one or 200 steps further to complete the thought or plot.
Another point is that the figure does not appear "center stage," if you will. It makes the eyes travel along the photo to find the focal point, and also focuses a bit more on the murky night.
Very well done on all accounts. ^__^

Wonderful minimalism. Just with any other foggy picture, it's what's not there that make this work. And personally it reminds me of Silent Hill. Really great job.
