Background: Cruz grew up wrestling in his native Puerto Rico. Discovering his sexuality early on, Cruz did his best to hide his true self from the circuits of independents he wrestled on - even going so far as to marry a close female friend to cover himself. Tired of hiding, Cruz instantly vanished from the pro wrestling scene and moved to the United States at the invitation of Dan Stone - who he met at an indy show once. Dan brought Cruz into the SFC to train in an environment where he could be himself. In exchange, the self-professed Latino Loverboy would serve as one of Dan's new hired guns in his Frontline stable. After Season 9, Cruz found himself cast aside from Dan for the most part and seeks to strike out on his own. He has made a name for himself for kissing his opponent after the match and sometimes incorporating making out with his opponent into submission holds.

Personal Life: Cruz has been a playboy from the minute he started dating. He is extremely flirtatious backstage, much to the annoyance of some - topped only by his in-ring gimmick of laying a passionate kiss on his defeated opponents. Despite the humiliating move being questionable, most of the locker room has accepted it as one of the many things happening between a league of men fighting in underwear. Cruz has however refrained from doing it to those with a serious issues with it.
He previously enjoyed a sexual relationship with his tag team partner, Hunter Heidrick. However, he seems more smitten with AJ Travis after a steamy match finish with him.
