After he finished talking with Cassidy, Dan noticed the sun was going down and his day at the resort was coming to a close. He made haste to swim over to Jimmy, who was siting under a pergola.
Jimmy saw his old rival turned friend approached and gave him a greeting nod.
"You look like you're coming along quite nicely off that injury, Jimmy. How we feeling?" Dan said.
"You hurt me worse in that MMA fight that Exile could ever think of doing to me. I survived you. I'll survive them." Jimmy joked, sipping his martini.
"I'm glad to hear it. The way things are going, I may need your help. There seems to be no telling exactly how many of these Exile quacks there actually are. Being without you plus Justin and his pipsqueak leave me at a huge disadvantage." Dan vented.
"Well maybe if you didn't have a fixation with rubbing your bare ass in that Ben-Kosem kid's face, you'd have an ally in that colossus of a boyfriend of his..." Jimmy pondered.
"Shut up before you experience this ass." Dan barked.
"If memory serves me correct, you've done that to me at some point. Or maybe you didn't. Maybe I'd remember better if you weren't to blame for every concussion I've ever had." Jimmy said, sipping his drink again.
"Okay, look. I know we haven't had the...most friendly past. But we've got literal terrorists running amuck in the SFC. Those other guys aren't here right now. But you are. I never indebt myself to anyone, but I'll make an exception if you'll help me. I have this idea, and I can't do it without you. Think you can at least hear me out?" Dan said with a sigh.
"Hi Jimmy, can you find it in your heart to help your bully that just wants to use you? he says...." Jimmy said.
"Of course I'm just using you. Take it as a complement you have a use!" Dan growled.
"You suck at arguments and persuasion, but luckily for you, I'm bored. Talk to me about this big idea of yours..." Jimmy conceded.
An evil grin returned to Dan's face as the sun dipped into the distance.
