That moment, when he looks at the panel with her picture, I felt sorry for him. Spock is wearing his ultimate do not want face, or he's just afraid, dunno.

I love his expression, he looks kinda sad and whistful, almost like he's remembering a time when things were simpler, before he learned about Starfleet and Captain Kirk.
