Goku is now like 50000 zillion years old and has like 200 times his age of training. Naruto has like 10 years of training and 16 years... Think about it
Naruto is, for his time, much stronger than Goku

Sorry for the long post. I hope I explained you my opinion on that.

XD it's cool! You make a good point, but dragonball is an older anime that naruto so the animation and fighting isn't as good. But yeah Naruto has a deeper storyline and the fact that when people die they can't come back to life (although they actually did that in naruto once if you read the manga as well
And also the dragonballs have rules, you can't bring back a person back to life more than once, unless it's with the namekian dragonballs, but those dragonball's aren't used that much because the namekians don't like bringing people to back etc. So Goku has to be very responsible aswell, like there was a part where a villian named Cell was going to self destruct to explode the whole planet. They could have let him and then revived the Earth back. But that's not allowed, so Goku sacrificed himself, and killed himself and Cell to save the earth, and that time Goku couldn't come back. ^_^ Sorry for going on a bit, just letting you know that the whole bringing back to life thing isn't like that XD
Also Masashi Kishimoto was actually inspired by Akira Toriyama because masashi is a big dragonball fan aswell XD Dragonball forever!! XD Although i still absolutely looove Naruto
