I am sorry that you see such an innocent photo in this way. The subjects are completely anonymous, so I don't feel there is much room for any potential embarrassment. In these days where we have accepted that CCTV cameras and Google Street View will photograph our every public movement, I find it curious that people should find such an image controversial.
