Personal Opinion: I never switched over to Eclipse even when it was introduced. The old site works fine and many of us are accustomed to it. I’d heard all of the buggy issues Eclipse had as well as the possible plagiarism of ArtStation, so I never used it. However, DeviantArt will be forcing Eclipse onto all members, deleting the old site. This isn’t right. Besides all of the issues Eclipse still has, you can’t force this on people who don’t want or like the update. Personally, I don’t think anything should change. I think the reason DeviantArt made Eclipse was to give DA “a fresh new coat of paint.” However, none of the creators on this platform want this. We should still be able to use the old site if we wish to. Forcing this upon people who didn’t even want the update isn’t good.

Side Note: Even if we don’t get the change, I’ll still be using DA as it’s my only social media. I’m only staying because I’m not willing to move or delete a bunch of posts. I may try moving to other sites like Toyhouse or ArtStation however, but that won’t be until later.
