this was pretty good, for the short amount of time i had.i really like this painting. it has alot of hidden symbolism.
the weird snakey things are actually tuba's, and the yellow is showing how they just kinda burst into the scene. the island represents how it originated (partially) from jamacia/ then theres the checkers, the stereotypical symbol of ska. then we have the ska kid, jammin out, all happy, and then a big long list of quotes from various ska songs. its dirty looking on purpose.

Well it's certainly good enough to be one, however the front page is to the point where it always features the same artists over and over again =/ I've been around on DA for 3 years, I've seen a lot of great artists who've been here a long time never make it. I'm certainly not great but I've been here quite awhile and I've never made it either so don't let it get you down if you don't make it.
