We. the Suilenroc, have recently returned from a transdimensional jaunt where We acquired a curious contrabanded tool from the Godheads Prison Black Museum, called The Shiv.We have discovered that the Shiv cuts both flesh and normality. So We are taking slices from this reality to reveal the inner workings - and it appears that normality is very messed up inside! Or it could be Our perception that's faulty.

A shiv (from the Romani word chiv) is a slang term for a sharp or pointed implement used as an improvised knife-like weapon. The shiv is the favored weapon of inmates in prisons across the world. It is famous for its versatility - a shiv can be anything from a glass shard with cloth wrapped around one end to form a handle, to a razorblade stuck in the end of a toothbrush, to a sharpened spoon. Some inmates have even sharpened the ends of pork chop bones to make them into weapons.

I see screws and faces and wormholes and a knife.. if that's how normality really looks like, its mask is a darn good one.
Normality is boring and mediocre.. but seen that like that, who wouldn't want to be mediocre?

We may well have thought We travelled to alternate dimensions, obtained a strange tool and started taking slices from reality. However We now appear to have an apple core and a fruit knife in Our hands.
So the balance of probability leads Us to think it was Our perception that was faulty...unless this is another layer of reality pulling a fast one when We weren't looking!

Could be - could be. We've been having a few problems recently with the Ranks of the UnRuly with unusual subliminal messages and glyphs appearing randomly. No fun at all when writing cheques!
