Description
waa!! ive wanted to infodump on these fellows forever!! they are semi-closed due to slight limitations of their designs, theyre completely free to make, you just have to ask permission first---
Zevevines are creatures of nature. You wouldn't catch them dead in an urban area. However, they do build their own little towns and communities in forests and mountains, despite generally sticking to themselves.
The creatures have very specific designs and shapes -- rounded heads, horns that can be any shape or size, sharp claws instead of hands, with can be any size or sharpness within reason, digitgrade legs, and a large bit of fluff that rests on their head. It can be styled any way, but the natural shape of it is a rounded puff of fluff that is swooped over one eye. They also have tails that can be any shape or size. They do have ears, but they aren't visible, and are hidden by flaps, much like a seal's. They have no visible difference for gender/no gender dysphoria, and are raised genderless, before they choose their own gender whenever they feel ready.
Zevevines have two variants -- the rough variant and the ram variant. Rough variants are more aggressive, cruel, loud, and vindicitve, and they generally stick to rougher, rockier areas -- while the ram variant, named for their paws rather than their personality, are quiet, shy, secluded, and afraid of confrontation. Rough variant society tends to be driven by a more militant, strict, almost Spartan sort of government, while ram variant society believes heavily in a freer and more lax government, in which everyone lives in peace.
However, there is a third variant, so rare that it isn't actually considered one, known as the revenant variant, which is made entirely from ram and rough types who have survived a serious attack. They will transform into revenants, who are different from any other kind of creature. They are almost ghost-like, and are hailed very highly in society. They retain all traits and personality as they had before they became revenant variants. They are extremely rare.
These creatures have designs based entirely on different things from nature. Lets take Clive for an example. (Feel free to find the post I made with his ref -- I'm too lazy to dig it up)
Clive is based on all of the poisonous berries and toxins that can be found in nature, specifically, in this case, deadly nightshade and poison sumac, along with some types of poisonous frogs. These are all elements that can be found in nature. Clive is a revenant variant, which means he floats and has no legs, and can pass through solid objects, but he is still very much alive.
Zevevines also have many mutations. Some are much rarer than others. (Any ultra-rare mutations, you have to ask permission for, just so you understand how they work. You may only have 3 characters with ultra-rare mutations, and they cannot have the same mutations, they must have different ones.) (Mutations will be posted about shortly)
Zevevines also have quite a few abilities -- all of them have some sort of power relating to their basic design theme. For example, Clive, the poison revenant, has the ability to secrete a sort of venom from his claws. It isn't deadly, but it does leave a nasty, painful gash. Generally, the power of the natural ability depends on age.
Another one of their abilities, which isn't found in every specimen, but also isn't rare, is the ability to converse with feral animals. This ability is most commonly found in leaf elements or similar natural designs. It is rarest and almost impossible to find in fire elements.
One of the rarer abilities are tough skin -- when a zevevine has been attacked many times, they develop an ability that allows them to grow much thicker, tougher skin -- like a callus across the entire body. Despite this, tough skin is actually smooth to the touch.
Zevevines reside on a large undiscovered island continent. They are the apex predators and are omnivorous. They enjoy eating fruits, nuts, some types of bugs, crabs, small fish, and even, when they can catch them, birds.

uhh thats kinda all i have on them,,,,, idk
ask me before you make one!!
oh also they can have any colors as long as the colors coincide with their specific element taken from nature and used for their design
currently revenant variants arent open! pls dont make one auugh
thanks for reading this
