Guess what time it is, ladies and gentlemen? It's >that< time of year; Kinktober Time! The challenge is fairly straightforward: for every day throughout October, one story or artwork is submitted.
And although I did the entire challenge last year, and the year before, this year I will do but a handful.
I will use this opportunity as an exercise in world building for a setting I've been writing for on CHYOA.com. So I will be writing ten stories for ten days, and each story will be about a different Traveller.
What is a Traveller?
That is one thing you will have to find out as our journey throughout this month progresses.

Our first Traveller is Victor Hayden.
Part time Bond villain, full time rich asshole.
It is appropriate that the first Kinktober story will be about him, since he is a major antagonist on my main story on CHYOA.com, but as it happens the prompt words really suit him as well. He is indeed very competitive, especially since he keeps wagering his self worth with each endeavour. I wouldn't say he experiences much pressure though, as much as he exudes it, as I hope was conveyed by this story.
In this case, however, he does experience pressure, since he happens to face off against an enemy that he particularly does not feel like losing against.

Victor might seem narcissistic and conceited, and yeah, he is, but he also deeply values his personal ideals and values which he will not compromise under any circumstances. It's just that these ideals have nothing to do with compassion, honesty and basically anything one would normally expect from a moral code. And although he is indeed slimey on the inside, he is also very skilled in acting pleasant and smooth talking.

Sorry this story didn't turn out quite as kinky as the name of the event would suggest. I do like kinkiness as much as anyone else, but if I can't find a good place to insert it into the story I want to write, then I'd rather leave it out than to find some contrived way to shove it in where it doesn't belong. Don't worry though, there will be plenty of weird kinks in other Kinktober stories, mostly related to femdom and monster girls since that is what appeals to me personally.
