demanded new art~ Well, have at. ^_^ (Expect many more where this came from, shortly.)Luke Fon Fabre, Tales of the Abyss. Giftart of 'Longhaired Jerkbottom Luke' requested by a friend.
Luke has very tremendous, fabulous eartails that I tremendously, fabulously forgot about. By the time I recalled them, they looked too wonky to insert in the composition...
I could have done more with this, but~ alas. I am lazy.
...Speaking of which, thank you to everyone for continuing to critique and fav despite the fact that I've been MIA. <3 I appreciate it, and I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can.

I really like the way the nose looks. It has great shape and a good sense of dimension. And the hair looks great. I like all the detailing in the different strands, and the way the orange and yellow blend together looks nice.

Realisim tends to be my photoshop style... I think it's probably because you can do so much more with colour and texture in that style than with a more 'anime' style, which, while beautiful, seems more linear and focused on movement, to me at least. ^^

wow. I mean really, just wow. The colors and blending are amazing in this, I love how you worked them together. and the lips! though, oddly, I think my favorite bit of this entire piece is the nose. :3 too perfect.

*spasm* Addy, this one is great. I love the colors, they're so bright and work so well together. The hair in the top right corner is done very well, I love it.
And of course..
*eye-spasm* Love the eye. xD
Great highlights and love the textures. Only thing I would change (but wouldn't know what to do to it exactly), is the bangs on the left side.. Maybe add more dark strands in those so they fit in better with the rest of the hair. Dunno.

Also: I really appreciate that you take the time to critique. After staring a piece for so long, the details all seem a blur to me. You are indeed correct about the hair, and I may touch that up; the problem being that it fades from yellow to white, and having a white splotch on the edge of the page always looks a mess. But I could indeed layer the yellow more. ^^
