Astra, female black sable German Shepherd
Current foster dog under Collin County Animal Shelter Is fostered by my boss and I have the joy of spending time with her regularly

Astra came in as a stray with no prior history and was estimated to be a year old. She was not handling the shelter environment well and had shut down into a ball of nerves. Often having to be carried out into the yard to go potty.

She’s doing much better now after leaving the shelter. It is clear Astra has never been inside a house or received much affection. Thankfully, she craves attention shyly and wants to learn.
