Well, after horribly corrupting my save file on Red Virtual Console, I've decided to go back to it. I started over, and beat the game again with what was essentially my lost team recovered. The old, bizarre style of the sprites never looked so odd when I was a kid. The early renditions of Pokemon were canon at the time. Over the generations, we know many have changed in appearance. Some haven't, but most designs underwent massive changes. I kind of have a love for the retro style. Today, I picked up my 3DS to draw this -- my own take on Farfetch'd Red classic sprite.

Drawn on "Colors! 3D" for the 3DS, and smoothed through Inkscape.

I added the sprite of reference to this image on the right-hand side. It's not an exact replica -- in fact, I wanted it to be somewhat different, but still clearly recognizable. Please enjoy!
