Description (A motel in St. Rose)

"My love, wake up..." You groaned as you turned your head away from the sudden voice. You had heard it before. It was deep, powerful, sometimes husky when the mood called for it, and it was...annoyingly insistent for attention. Reason why, it loved to pester you. "Come on, flower, open your eyes so that I may look into those gorgeous (e/c) gems of yours."

"Nooo...I wanna sleep." The voice chuckled at your childish reply and kissed your temple.

"You have slept long enough. Now come on and get up. There is something I not only wish to show you, but I also need to discuss a few things with you as well."

Groaning once more, you begrudgingly nodded your head and sat up from...a couch? Wait, weren't you "tied up" before? You slowly opened your eyes, waiting for them to adjust to the light, and took in your surroundings. It looked as if you were in a hotel of sorts, or maybe a motel. You rose up to your feet to get a better look of things and noticed that Alucard was sitting casually in a chair, smirking in your direction as he held a phone in his hand.

"You callin' someone?" you asked, wanting to feel enraged at the vampire, but couldn't seem to find the emotion. It's almost as if you couldn't be angry with him at all anymore, which is odd considering what he did to you hours ago.

"I just did," he answered.

"Who did you call?"

"My master. I needed to tell her of our whereabouts and of the mission status."

You nodded your head again. "Ah, so you took care of everything then?"

"Of course." Sighing, you sat back down on the couch and decided to stare at the hit man. After that little memory you had, you didn't quite know what to do. Sure, a big part of yourself just wanted to be close to the vampire, but you still needed to be sure of some things before you did anything. So the first thing you needed to do was talk to someone about your little situation.

Although, you didn't think Seras was a good idea, because not only was she the student of the man you apparently had affections for, but since Alucard could also read her thoughts, he would most definitely find out about everything and you would be screwed. And before anyone asks, yes, you meant that in two different ways. So the best person to talk to about this was Integra.

The couch cushion beside you suddenly sunk in as another person took a seat. Alucard had moved closer to you after noticing you had been staring at him for five minutes straight and was curious as to why. Were you still upset with him for the way he treated you in Rio? That must have been it, because you were still staring.

"________."

"Hmm?"

"Are...are you, by any chance...still mad at me? You know, for what I did to you in Rio?"

"..." Your silence worried him. So were you or were you not mad? He needed to know or else he'd end up groveling at your feet for forgiveness, and that was the last thing he ever wanted to do. "No, Alucard. I'm not mad at you. I completely understand why you did what you did and I will take my role in Hellsing seriously from now on." And now he was in awe at you. You were really forgiving him for doing the one thing you reacted to as the "worst possible thing EVER"?! Was this a trick or had Alucard been a very good boy this year~? Either way, it didn't matter as long as things between you two were back to normal.

"That is very good news to hear, my flower. I was sure you would have shot me in the head once you awoke from your slumber."

"Oh, now I wouldn't have done that."

"Really?"

You blushed. "...Okay, maybe, but why should you care? You can regenerate yourself, for christ sake."

He shrugged. "True. However, it still hurts to think that you would want me dead. You hate me and yet I love you. Jeez, even hearing myself say that stings."

Flushing a darker shade of red, you scooted closer to Alucard to where your legs touched. "Alucard, you know I don't hate you. I mean I know I get angry with you sometimes, but I could never hate you. And you should already know that since I'm pretty sure I have had this kind of conversation with you before." He chuckled deeply. Yes, he remembered that day clearly. Sure, you got a leg injury then, but at least he got to kiss you.

"Heheheh, yes, I remember."

"Okay then. Now, what was it that you wanted to show me, Alucard?" He blinked at you, perplexed at your question for a moment, until realization finally struck him. Sitting up straight, he dug into the pocket of his trench coat and pulled out a picture. He handed it to you and waited quietly for you to speak.

The picture was of a dark violet coffin with an engraved tulip surrounded by a circle of chains. A large cross also covered the bottom half of the box. The tulip wasn't colored red this time, much to your surprise. It just matched the same dark shade the rest of the coffin was covered in.

Silence ensued after examining the picture. Alucard was still waiting for you to say something, and you were busy trying to figure out why he was showing you this. Seriously, why did he show you this? Had someone died or something while you were out cold? Coughing awkwardly into a balled up hand, you looked to Alucard with a quirked brow.

"So...you gonna explain to me what this is or am I going to have to figure it out on my own?"

He shifted in his spot. "It's your coffin." And now you were uncomfortable...VERY uncomfortable. Wow, this sort of thing really needed to stop happening to you.

"Okay, but why do I have a coffin? I'm not dead."

"Yet."

"Wh...what?"

"You're not dead "yet", my dear. Sometime during the upcoming future, I will turn you into a vampire. That's why I made sure to have Walter make you your own coffin before hand since I refused to have Integra pick one for me like she did with the police girl's coffin."

"Heh, I didn't think you'd be so lazy when it came to window shopping for coffins," you said with a chuckle.

"Well, during then I just didn't care. She could have any coffin she wanted so long as it had the soil in which she was born on. I took special consideration for your coffin, however," he said, mentioning the last part with a smirk. Scooting closer, he brought the picture up again and pointed out details he knew you would notice. "I wanted the tulip to be purple this time since your weapon already has a red one. This also has a meaning to it, but if you want to know what it is then you'll have to figure it out yourself, because I refuse to tell you."

You pouted. "Why not?" Chuckling at the look you gave him, he leaned close to your face and gently kissed the tip of your nose, moving back once your face flushed again.

"I like the surprised look on your face when something affectionate happens to you. It makes me laugh."

"Well jeez, glad to know how my embarrassment pleases you," you muttered, arms crossed and frowning.

"I'm glad that you're glad, dear."

"I was being sarcastic, Alucard."

"Oh, I know that." Twitch. This man...ugh...

"By the way, why did you get me a coffin? And I mean as in why now instead of when I turn into a vampire. It would have made more sense to do it then."

"Well I got a little impatient and...well just think of it as an early wedding gift."

"W-wedding gift?!" He pulled you in close and nuzzled into your neck, smirking that smug smirk which irritated you.

"Yes~"

But then...SLAM! "Hallo, we're baaaaack."

"Bon jouuuuur!" Alucard cringed at the two mood killers and stood up. You, however, were actually glad to see them. You missed your friends dearly, even though you'd been out for only a couple of hours.

"Seras~! Pip~!" you yelled as you waved your arms around like a chimpanzee in order to get them to hug you. Seras was the first one to come to you, wrapping her arms tightly around you as she told you how glad she was to know you were okay. Pip was reluctant to give you a hug, especially since Alucard was staring at him from a distance with a look that said, "go ahead, do it. See what happens". The Frenchman did not want to see what would happen. So he decided it was best to merely nod his head in your direction and leave it at that.

Taking a sip of the carbonated beverage he got from some fast food joint along the way back, Pip sighed and thought over ideas on how to return to London.

"Sure enough, didn't work. Not a bit. Bad idea from any angle," he said as he took another long sip of his drink.

Seras frowned from beside you, standing to get Pip's attention. "There aren't any ships leaving for a week. and anyway..." she groaned, "the schedule's already booked up." Alucard decided to step in during that point.

"Out of the question." Everyone looked to the Nosferatu in questioning as he picked up your backpack and handed it to you. He then turned to the other two. "You two, get ready."

"Eh?"

"We're stealing an airplane." The three of you gaped. He...he was joking, right? ...Right?!

"Alucard, you can't be serious!" you yelled.

"Oh, but I am. We need to get back home immediately. My master has ordered us to return today."

"But it may take us a long while until we get the plane!"

He hummed. "How so?"

"Well first, we'd have to get to the airport without getting recognized-"

"I can easily take care of that."

"-then we have to get someone who can fly the plane-"

"Simple."

"-then we have to make our way through security, because somehow we'll be found out-"

"I'll destroy anyone who gets in my way."

"-and lastly, we have to get the plane itself," you finally finished. To you, that seemed like a long list of things to do in order to get back, but to Alucard it didn't seem like much.

"Again, dearest, I can take care of it." Pip then decided to speak his mind, which Alucard could have scowled at, but refrained from doing so since he didn't feel like dealing with him today.

"Non non non non non non non non non! Dead dead dead dead dead, zhis time we're dead! I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, no zhanks, not for me!" You sighed and went to console him...by smacking him repeatedly across the face and shaking him by the shoulders as if he were a rag doll. To say Alucard wasn't entertained by this spectacle would be a complete and utter lie.

"Pip, get a hold of yourself!" you nearly screamed. "We're not gonna die!"

"You lie!!!"

"I'm not lying!"

"Yes, you are!"

"PIP!" Alucard's attention quickly turned away from you two the moment a powerful presense made itself known from behind the door. Seras had noticed her master's glance and went to look out the peep hole. A large, familiar shadow was slowly advancing towards the room. Seras yelped and ran to her gun, and just a moment after she made it behind you, a loud bang came from the entrance and Father Anderson sauntered his way inside, Alucard sending the man a challenging smirk the entire time.

They both neared each other and you and Seras were freaking out. Were you going to have to pull another kissing distraction again? God, you hoped not. I mean you didn't mind sacrificing yourself to the assassin, but you really didn't want things to go too far. Especially when your friends were not that far from either of you.

When both of the large men were close enough, they both yelled out in unison and threw a punch at each other. You flinched at the loud smack of Anderson's fist coming into contact with Alucard's face and willed yourself to stay put. If you got in the middle of those two now you would most likely end up bruised. Both men were somewhat thrown back from the strength of the punches, and strangely, they began to laugh about it.

"Alucarrrd!!" yelled Anderson, after breathing out a gurgling pant or two. The man had been punched in the stomach, after all.

Alucard smiled wildly at the priest and panted himself. "Couldn't stand it anymore, ah?! Anderson!!" They both took another step forward and punched each other again; Alucard in the stomach this time and Anderson in the face. Both were forced to take a step back again.

"Gah! Baha! Gehah! Gaha! Hah! Gahaahahahahah!" Alucard was in hysterics, that sinister smile of his not even moving an inch. "Damn human! Hahaha!"

Anderson's patience for the man had quickly dwindled to nothing and he drew out two of his bayonets. At that note, you, Pip, and Alucard pulled out your guns, ready to fire at any moment, but a sudden roar hollered from out of nowhere. You all turned to Seras to find her with a missile in her mouth, Harkonnen over her shoulder, and her shivering form sweating bullets. Poor girl didn't know how scared she looked, although, you were pretty sure she did.

Anderson, after watching the young draculina embarrass herself, smirked at her and flung a bayonet not too far from her head. He then went to retrieve his broken glasses, placing them onto his face as if nothing ever happened. Bull crap. Seriously, when would the madness between those two end?

'Never...' you thought somberly as Alucard went to look at the note pierced into the wall by Anderson. He would have looked more if you hadn't pulled him aside to wipe the blood from his lips, cooing to him in worry as you eyed the faint bruise on his cheek. The vampire would have pushed you away, -if you were somebody else he couldn't give two s***s about- but this was just too rare of an opportunity for him. So he decided to let you do whatever you wanted to him. Hmm, now why does that sentence arouse him so? Oh who cares, this was amazing~!

"Aif ye go aboot thirteen kilometers til the Noorth, there's ae Vatican airfield disguised as a crop duster's," Anderson informed everyone in the room, but for you and Alucard it might have been like talking to a brick wall. "There's ae wee jet there wi' its engine a'ready warmed up. Ging on, away wi ye. It's a' yers, tak it and vanish. ...While ah can still control ma urge tae kill the lot o' ye."

(Several hours later)

Alucard groaned. That noise...what was that? It was so soft...was someone speaking to him? It sounded like it. But wait, why did his chest hurt? It felt as if he had been stabbed. Wait a second...he was beginning to see something. Light, at first, but then his vision focused and he saw Abraham Van Hellsing hovering over him. And without warning, his cold lips moved on their own accord.

"So I lost," he said pitifully. He was so weak, and so very tired.

"That's right," Abraham stated. "You lost. No nightmare lasts forever. Both your castle und fief are gone. Your loyal servants are dead und gone too. Even her mark from the eucharist vafer has vanished. She'll never belong to you." Clenching his fist, Abraham threw a punch at the stake crammed into Alucard's chest, the pain so blinding that it caused the vampire to cry out in agony. The first Hellsing quickly grabbed the collar of the vampire king's cape and pulled him up to his face. "You've got nothing left now, Count! Miserable No Life King! Everything you had ist now gone!"

"You're wrong!!" Abraham jolted back in surprise. Had the vampire really shouted back in defiance?

"Vhat?"

"You're wrong..." Alucard wheezed. "She's still out there...waiting for me."

"I told you, the girl is gone. Mina is-"

"FORGET MINA BLOODY HARKER!!" Now Abraham was stunned. What the hell was wrong with this man?! His eyes were dazed and he had a crazed smile on his face. That's an expression he'd seen on the vampire's face before, but it only showed when he was either killing... or when he had accomplished something. [1]

"Then who, Count. Who are you speaking of?!"

Alucard could have cackled if the stake wasn't still lodged within his body. "My queen."

"Your vhat?!"

"My queen...she is out there. She needs me..."

Abraham scoffed. "Delusional vampire. There is no queen and there never vill be. Now just be quiet und-"

"No, she's real. She's just not here yet, that is all. I shall wait for her patiently like a good king. I have much time on my side."

"Be quiet you-"

"My queen."

"I said be-"

"My queen!"

"Shut up!"

"MY QUEEN!!"

(With you)

"MY QUEEN!!" you jumped in your seat and looked to Alucard in surprise. He was breathing heavily and thrashing about in his seat as if he were having a bad dream. His eyes were leaking bloody tears and your concern for him forced you out of your seat and over to his side instantly. Now as you stood before the man, you were very troubled. Wasn't it bad to wake someone up out of a nightmare? You had heard it was dangerous. Or was it sleep walkers you couldn't wake up? Eh, you didn't know, so you guessed you might as well wing it.

Reaching a hand out, you gently grasped Alucard's shoulder and shook it. Nothing happened. He just continued to mumble in his sleep. You sighed and decided to shake him again, but this time you spoke his name.

"Alucard," you whispered.

"Mmmnn...queen...ugghh..." You shook again.

"Alucard, come on, you need to wake up."

"Nnnghh...no...my queen...where are...you..."

"Alucard, please. You need to wake up, honey. Wake up!" You thought that shouting would help this time, and it was. His eyelids were fluttering a bit so that was a good sign. One more shout should probably do it. So taking a deep breath, you took a step back from the vampire- mostly for safety reasons- and let out a loud, "ALUCARD!!" which woke the vampire up indefinitely.

The man panted and stared about himself as he tried to recollect his thoughts. That's right. He was on a mission right now. He was returning to his master back in London to relay some information to her. Sitting in his seat with a deep sigh, he blinked as he felt a delicate hand run its fingers through the dark tresses of his hair. He looked upward to see your face, (e/c) eyes showing tremendous worry for the red demon.

"What's wrong?" he asked as he leaned forward in his chair, reaching a hand out to brush against your cheek.

"I should be asking you that. You are the one who had the nightmare. Also, you're...crying?" You didn't quite know if blood counted as tears, but they came out of his eyes, so maybe they were. Alucard frowned and brushed at his cheeks, the scarlet liquid smearing onto the once white gloves.

" 'ello, sir! We'll be in England again soon enough. Landing is in ten minutes so get ready." Alucard sighed after listening to the voice on the intercom and went to clear his face of his "tears". You were back near your seat now, digging through your bag to make sure you had everything with you, but you were still worried about the man sitting across from you. His reactions during the nightmare really scared you and you wanted nothing more than to help him. But knowing Alucard, he'd probably forget the dream -or pretend it never happened- and go about his day like he usually does.

Sighing, you leaned back in your seat and looked out the window, just waiting to return home.

(Outskirts of London, the Royal Family Villa Krauney House)

Everyone was situated in a seat in front of a grand table. Hellsing, with sir Integra sitting casually, fingers laced together as she waited for the return of her most trusted servant. Iscariot, with Maxwell discussing ideas and plans with a fellow member as he filed through documents. The Convention of Twelve, who were also there, sitting and waiting for the meeting to begin. And last but not least, the Queen of England. She was sitting on a throne, guards in front of her as she too waited for Integra's servant to return from Rio.

"Sir Hellsing," the queen called, "has he STILL not arrived yet?"

"Yes, your majesty. I believe he will be here very soon now." Integra answered. Leaning against a wall not too far from Maxwell, Heinkell Wolfe looked about the room with a blank expression marring her face.

"Perhaps it vas a bad idea to use Anderson as messenger?"

"No," said Maxwell. "Unfortunately, and unpleasantly we are running in circles with our hands tied. All of our actions are completely devoted to these people. Without a veritable surge of diligence we will not be able to even TOUCH them. Their collaborators have spread everywhere. Governments, militaries, the economic world, religious, etcetera, etcetera."

"There are few people who can prevail against the temptation of eternal life. I should not be surprised if that holds true worldwide, including England and the Vatican. And probably even among those here. Damned vermin." The sound of double doors opening silenced everyone in the room and they all turned to see four figures at the entrance. You all had finally made it, and let's just say the stares were not helping you or Seras. You even heard her whisper a small, "crikey..." which was not nearly as close to what you wanted to say. Your word was much more colorful.

Looking over his sunglasses, Alucard glanced about the room with a sly smirk.

"Truly splendid, everyone's here," he said as he turned to Integra. "I have just returned, my master."

She smiled. "You've done your duty well, my servant." She slowly lifted a hand up and motioned to him. "You stand before the queen. Remove your sunglasses." He did so immediately. He then suddenly took your hand, which caused a small yelp to escape your lips, and led you both to the queen of England herself. You both walked past the table, ignoring the guards who were yelling at Alucard, walked up the steps, and finally stood before her royal highness.

You were ready to pass out. Never had you been around such a highly respected person before. I mean it was the bloody Queen of England! To be near such royalty was an honor! You just hoped you wouldn't say anything stupid while you were up here. After finding a place in front of the queen, Alucard released your hand. The elderly woman eyed you curiously, but spoke nothing of her intrigue and instead turned her attention to the vampire king.

"......It's been a long time...vampire."

"Yes, I suppose about fifty years. You've become the queen since then."

She nodded her head and brought her hands out. "Let's have a look at your face." Bowing his head, Alucard slowly knelt down and smirked as the queen grasped onto his jaw. "Nothing about you ever changes, Alucard. Look at me now. I'm already so, so old. Just a wrinkled old woman." Moving back, Alucard smiled.

"You're still that same saucy filly from fifty years ago, young lady. No, NOW you are truly beautiful, queen." The queen chuckled under her breath, clearly amused.

"Hmhm, yes, well...before you deliver your report I must ask you something."

Alucard rose to his feet. "Of course, my lady."

"Who is this young woman you brought up here with you?" They both turned to you and you flushed at the attention. You must have resembled a strawberry now.

"That is MY queen, your majesty."

"Your...queen?"

"Yes, the Queen of Vampires," he slowly sauntered over to you, "my precious flower," he was by your side now, leaning down to growl in your ear, "my mate." You tried to push the man away, too embarrassed of the looks he was giving you, but he wouldn't move. He just continued to smirk sensually at you.

So hissing, you whispered in Alucard's ear, "stop it! We're in front of everyone AND the queen of England!"

He chuckled. "Why should you care, dear? We are royalty too."

"Our 'royalty' isn't the same as hers, Alucard!"

"I have to disagree with you there, dear. We are in fact royalty. Well...at least I am...but with a few nice words I can change you into the queen you deserve to be."

"Ugh, Alucard, this conversation is not happening now...!"

"But what if I WANT it to happen now~?"

"Alucard!"

"Heheh...heheheheh." You both stopped speaking the moment laughter broke out and looked to the source. The queen had a hand to her mouth to stifle the giggles that dared to escape and laughed a little louder when she noticed you both staring at her.

"I-I'm sorry," she apologized, "it's just you both are so hilarious...Alucard."

"Yes, your majesty?"

"May I have a small word with your bride, please?"

He nodded his head. "Of course, my lady." Nudging you forward, he gave you a small, almost non-existent smile, and turned away to give you both a small semblance of privacy. You gulped and took small steps to the queen. Once you were about several inches away from her, you bowed your head gently.

"Um...your highness?"

"Yes, dearie, come here." You did as she asked and leaned down to her level so she can whisper to you. "Now, I have to ask before the BIG DAY happens, but do you love the vampire?"

"Uh...umm...w-well I-" Looking into your eyes, the queen smiled and nodded her head as if you answered her clearly.

"I see. Well then..." She looked past you and smiled gently to Alucard, who still had his back turned. "Alucard," he immediately turned around at the call of his name, "I'm glad you found someone to spend an eternity with. She really is a lovely young lady."
Alucard grinned so widely and so wickedly that before ever meeting him you would have freaked out and run away, but seeing it now brought a smile to your own face.

"Thank you, your highness."

"Of course. Now, deliver your report, vampire." Turning around, Alucard looked to everyone as you quickly went back to Seras' side.

"Once upon a time," Alucard started, "a time there was an insane Major in the SS. He said, "let us make an immortal army. Let us make invulnerable soldiers." They strove towards their reckless goal in a swelling sea of blood and madness."

"And THAT would be the Millennium Organization's project," Integra spoke from her spot in the room.

"Correct. But fifty-five years ago we put an end to that project. "We" being myself and Walter. However, they didn't abandon their true intention. Everyone forgot about them, or tried to. But they undoubtedly continue their vindictive existence in the depths of shadow. While slowly, slowly extending their abilities. Currently, the dreadful research is reaching its horizon of perfecting vampire production."

"A vampire kampf gruppe, an invulnerable army of unhumans. Surely THIS is the return of Siegfried's mythical force. The last troop remnants of the third reich. The Letztes Bataillon." Many people at the table went into a small uproar as they discussed options. Suddenly, a young voice broke out into the noise, an unknown voice.

"Tubalcain's blood showed me the vay here. Really...I guess he vas good for something...!!" Everyone shot an alarmed look to the boy standing in front of the doors. He was wearing an army outfit of sorts and...and were those...cat ears? Pip and Heinkell drew their guns, but the boy raised his hands. "Vait. I'm just a messenger. I'm not here to fight you."

Integra blinked. "Messenger? When did you...? Where did you...? Walter?!"

"Our security was flawless. Nor are there any signs of break-in," said Walter.

"Save your breath." The kid brought out a screen and held it up. "I'm everyvhere and novhere." Placing the screen down on the table for all to see, you frowned as a small part of yourself yelled out. It wanted you to touch the boy's cat ears to see if they were real. You wanted to know if they were soft like a kittens. Ugh, curse your girly tendencies!

"Since eweryone from England und the Watican are gathered together here today, our Kommandant, herr major, has something very important to say. So please, sit back und listen." The boy pulled out a small remote and pressed a button. Nothing happened. Frowning, he pressed the button again twice and all that came was sound, the screen still black.

"Ahh? Vhat's wrong, there's no signal," said one voice.

"Vhat are you doing? Hurry und stand herr Brigadier general up against the vall," said another.

"Major! Stop this! Stop, for God's sake...!" The third voice was frantic, and it sort of frightened you to see just what was going to come up on the screen.

"Varrant officer Schrodinger, this isn't vorking at all," the second voice groaned, until finally a figure showed up on the screen. "Hm, ahh. There's the image."

"Major! Please, save us! Sa..." BANG BANG BANG. Everyone jumped at the loud sound of gunshots firing.

Schrodinger smiled. "Sounds like you haf your hands full there, major."

"It's troublesome having to deal vith superiors who are cowards. But now I finally find relief. It feels good. It feels wery good," the one who you assumed was the major said with a smile. He was a round man, blond hair combed in a way to make him look professional. He wore glasses, but they gleamed in a way that intimidated you slightly. He wore a plain white suit, one in which looked expensive and very, very clean, and his smile....it was unnerving.

As Schrodinger laughed at his leader's words, Alucard walked up to the screen.

"Hi there, major."

"It's been a long time, Alucard. Being able to see you against the pinnacle of gladness." They both stared at each other for a moment until Integra spoke.

"So you're the enemy leader." The major took a glance to her and hummed slightly.

"Ohh, you're the director of Hellsing. Sir Integra Hellsing, ja? This ist the first time ve've met."

"What's your goal? What leads you to engage in this daft behavior? Answer me!!"

"Goal? Fraulein, lovely Fraulein. That ist one foolish question. Goal?" he looked about himself, "hmhm, my goal you say. If you must go that far, Fraulein, ve do not haff any goal."

Alarmed and a little baffled, sir Irons rose from his chair. "H--! Hogwash!!" he yelled. "Don't try to tell us you haven't any goal!! You mean to say you attacked us for no reason?! Even as a joke, this..."

"Silence! I am NOT speaking vith you. I am speaking vith THIS Fraulein. It hast been so long since I spoke vith a young girl. Do not interfere vith me, boy!!" Sir Irons was silenced. "Settle on no means in obtaining your goals. I'm told it's a Machiallian Rudiment but I don't really know such things." The major walked away, but the camera followed his every move. "Do you see, Fraulein? If you are a commander with the slightest power of retaliation, you should know this."

"There ist no doubt that in this vorld, there exist groups who are determined to settle on no goals in obtaining their means. In other vords..." The camera then changed and the image of a man tied and gagged showed up. He was surrounded by corpses, one who looked like it had it been shot in the head, and the other had the upper half of his head torn off. In the background, laughter was heard. Probably from the other people who thought this sort of scene was hilarious. And as the camera continued to roll on the lone man, the major's voice spoke up from the crowd. "After all's said und done, groups like us..." SNAP!

Vampires swarmed up to the tied up man, teeth elongating into ferocious fangs, and they tore away at his body, eating him up alive.

"...Don't leave the job half finished," said one voice. It sounded close so it must have been the one videotaping the whole thing. "Even letting him become a ghoul vould be...bothersome." Everyone in the room was mortified at the scene, except for Alucard, of course.

Hearing the sound of flesh ripping and other gurgling sounds, Schrodinger rubbed the back of his neck in mock embarrassment. "Uhahhhh! That looks pret-ty severe, major!" Jeez, you think?!

Maxwell frowned at what he was seeing. Sure, this sort of display of violence never really surprised him. No, not in the least. But this kind of gruesome act was just...insane. So, he made sure to tell the insane major just that.

"You are ALL insane." The major, who had not really acknowledged Maxwell in the first place, was silent. However, that only lasted for a second until that creepy grin of his crawled slowly onto his face.

"Hmmm, you speak of madness to me? Vatican Section XIII chief?"

"Yes, I do. Not one of you is sound in the mind." And the major was silent again. That is...until...

"Thankfully it's your God who guarantees my madness, you see. Very vell, I ask you this. Who do you suppose in this vorld guarantees the sanity of your God?" The question seemed to throw Maxwell back a bit.

"Do you understand just who the hell you're talking to? Perhaps it vould help if I vas vearing a black SS uniform? Ve are the Schutzstaffel of the Third Reich! Just how many people do you imagine ve haff killed?! The Death's Head Division, said to operate as if it breathed combat and wiolence themselves?! Ve're insane?! You say this NOW?! You're about half a century late!! Very vell!! So be it!! Try und stop me then, you self-styled standards of normality!! But unfortunately for you, my enemy ist not you und yours."

"Keep your vords to yourself for a bit, Section XIII. My enemy ist Great Britain!! The Order of Protestant Knights!! Nein!! It's that man who looks so joyful standing there." Everyone instantly turned to Alucard, who had both of his arms around him, as he laughed hysterically. Watching him laugh about everything that was happening brought a small smile to your lips. Seeing him happy made you happy.

"Und quite possibly that young Fraulein smiling over there. The one who I heard vas referred to as "queen"." And the whole room fell silent once the major said those words. Everyone you knew was looking to you now. Integra, Walter, Seras, and Pip appeared to be worried for you as you tried to keep yourself from shaking on the spot, and Alucard...ohh Alucard...he looked just about ready to lose it.

His eyes were wild as he looked from you, to the major, and back to you as if you would have been shot at any moment. His arms were no longer around him, but instead they were at his sides, hands clenched into tight fist as the material of his gloves stretched, looking near ready to tear apart. And his face...it looked so outraged, so furious that it could freeze a serial killer in fright. In an instant, Alucard moved to your side, wrapping a protective arm around your middle and turned you in an angle in which the major could not see you, but you could see him and that ever present smile of his.

"You will not lay a single hand on my bride," the vampire king snarled, fangs showing as his eyes glowed in a ferocious light. You frowned and moved deeper into the vampire's hold, somehow feeling comfortable. Should you really start feeling like this now when someone just threatened your life, or at least your safety? Definitely not, but it was happening.

The major raised his hands up as if he were surrendering, glasses gleaming as he lowered his head a tad. "Vell of course I'm not going to touch your Frau, Alucard. However, I can't promise that my subordinates vill do the same." That earned him a growl. "They vill probably rip the poor girl to shreds right before your eyes, just to see vhat kind of reaction they vill get. But you'd probably go ballistic if something like that vere to happen, wouldn't you? That's good, though. Ve need that kind of attitude for vhen the glorious war comes."

Alucard scowled at the round man. How dare he threaten his queen, and right in front of him too! Did he seriously not realize the error of his words...of his actions?! Probably not, considering he was still grinning. After thinking a bit, Alucard also grinned wickedly. Hey, he couldn't show the enemy just how much their words affected him, now could he? Although, a scowl here or there was still absolutely necessary.

"Fine, fine," he started with a cackle, "I'll destroy you any number of times. You really ARE a vengeful brood! Hahahahah. A superb war declaration!"

"Ve'll overturn unsatisfactory results any number of times. Of course, we are the most vengeful type there ist."

Biting into her cigar, Integra looked between the two insane men one more time until she decided enough was enough.

"Alucard. Seras. Fire." Obeying her order, Alucard pulled out is Casull, put it into young Schrodinger's mouth, and fired, the boy's head exploding into many small pieces. Oddly enough, the major didn't seem so surprised by this course of action. Gently shaking his head, he gave a small, "tsk tsk," to the vampire.

"Shooting the messenger." He gave another, "tsk". "Dear me, such violent outbursts."

Integra scoffed. "Messenger? Don't make me laugh. Declaration of war? Oh, please. You are nothing more than a terrorist group. I have heard enough of your exaggerated nonsense. We will rid the Earth of your existence. And it will be nothing more than another job for us!!"

"You may conceal your quivering fist if you vish, Fraulein." The director of Hellsing sneered and clenched her fist. "Now I see, ja. She's a good master. Und she appreciates Alucard's efforts. Farevell, Fraulein. I look forward to meeting you again on the field of battle. Auf Wiedersehen!"

"SERAS!!" Firing at the screen, the young woman panted after the ordeal. Things were starting to get pretty hectic around here, especially for you. You were still frightened, but you weren't shaking as you were before Alucard came to your side. In fact, you actually looked relaxed, which is weird considering you always disliked it when Alucard tried to touch you. You were now gripping tightly onto his red trench coat, staring up at him in worry as he stared down at you with calm and serious concentration. He must have been thinking about something. Something that had to deal with you.

"Sir Hellsing. Alucard." Everyone looked to the queen. "This is an order. Bring them all down." And so they shall.

(Minutes later)

"________, focus. You need to learn how to use blades, and the other weapons I have here," Alucard muttered as he threw another knife in your direction. You luckily managed to dodge the sharp object and retaliated with a swift sword jab to his stomach. He blocked it with a sword of his own and pushed his weight into the blade to move you back. You growled and tried to push him back, but he moved further once he realized what you were doing. With no other option, and arms getting weak from the strain, you quickly moved to the side, dropping your sword in the process.

Alucard sighed and placed the end of his blade to the back of your neck. Things would go nowhere if you continued to act like this. You weren't being playful, but you weren't being serious either. The vampire sheathed his sword and brought a gloved hand out for you to take, which you did after much debate. Once you were up, he went over to the sword you dropped and tried to give it back to you, but you were too busy gulping down a whole water bottle to acknowledge anything at the moment.

Swallowing half of it, you glanced at your supposed mate with a quirked brow. "How is it that you're so much more calm about this while I'm here ready to pass out? It doesn't make sense." He snickered.

"Actually, it does. For one, I'm already dead, meaning I don't sweat or get sick. Second, I don't pant or wheeze, because I've trained myself for any situation for as long as I can remember. Now I am training you so that you may be prepared for anything that will come your way."

"By 'anything' you mean Millennium and Stacie, right?"

"Yes."

"Ah, okay. So what else do I need to learn?" you asked. He blinked and looked to the large stack of weapons lined up on a rack not that far from you both.

Groaning, he turned back. "You have a LOT to learn, flower."

"Uuuggghhh," your head fell forward, "this is hopeless! I'll never be ready in time for everyone who is after us."

"Never say never, dear. Now we're gonna try to use bladed weapons again, so here's your sword," he threw it to you and you caught it by the handle, swinging back and forth to get a good feel of the weapon in your hands, "and now let us begin once more."

"Okay, but it's very hard for me to take you seriously while you're wearing that suit of yours. I mean I understand why you took off your trench coat, but...still..."

"Would you prefer it if I fought you without anything on? It would make for quite the interesting training session~" You blushed.

"J-just shut up and get ready."

He chuckled. "Whatever you say, my queen."

(With Seras)

Seras stared down at her meal with a frown as the scent of the delicious looking food floated to her nose. It didn't seem to calm her nerves, though. She reached a hand out and grabbed a spoon, dipping it into some soup to slowly bring it to her lips. She took a small sip and instantly covered her mouth to keep from spitting it up. Forcing it down, she panted and looked at the rest of her meal. This was going to be a very difficult dinner session...

"Is it painful?" Seras jumped and turned to the intruding voice, which happened to be Integra. "It must be."

"Chief...!!" Integra, who was biting into a cigar, dug into her pocket and pulled out a packet of blood to throw it onto the table in front of the draculina. The girl gaped in surprise at the dark liquid. Why would sir Integra just give this to her while she was still trying to eat her...meal?

"I heard from Walter. This is the way you've been at meal time lately. Why don't you drink it? The blood. You aren't human anymore. You are a vampire, Seras." The young woman frowned.

"But...! I......I mean......! That is...uh..." Integra sighed. Guess she'd have to pull out the big guns this time. Grabbing a knife off of the table, Integra placed the sharp tip to her right index finger and winced as the blade cut through the material of her glove and into her finger, spilling her own blood. Seras was shocked to see her do this. She would never expect her leader to inflict harm to herself...ever! "M--! M--! Miss Integra!!" The director brought up her finger and smirked at Seras. This WAS going to happen.

"I've cut my finger. At this rate it might get infected. Lick it for me." Seras blanched.

"Eh! Ah! Er, eh?!"

"Lick it. That's an order." There was a pause. "Are you not bound to my orders, Seras?" Seras sighed. She couldn't fight her master's master no matter how much she tried, so regrettably, she consented. Leaning in slowly, Seras stuck her tongue out until it finally touched the bleeding wound. "Be mindful, Seras. Don't forget yourself and bite down, all right?" Seras would have nodded if she weren't too engrossed on the taste of Integra's blood.

A couple more licks and Integra finally pulled her finger away. Seras was temporarily sated and Integra's cut would not be infected.

"The genuine article, 100% virgin blood. Did it relieve you somewhat, police girl?"

Seras was flushed crimson. "Uh...ah...well...I...th...thank you..." The elder woman went and turned to the door, but when she spotted you standing there, a blush staining your cheeks as you rung your fingers together, she had to freeze.

"Oh, Ms. ________. I thought you were training with Alucard down in his room," said Integra, who was quite surprised at your presence.

You nodded your head and brushed aside a loose strand of hair from your face, placing it behind your ear as a bit of sweat trailed down your temple and to the towel around your neck. "Yeah, I was. But, I told him I was getting more water when really I needed to talk to you about something important."

"Alright then," Integra looked to Seras. "Prepare your gear and stand by, police girl!! Communication was lost with the HMS Eagle somewhere at sea near Wales. Likely due to Millennium."

The young vampire gave a nod, smiling with a bit of pink staining her cheeks. "R-right. Y--! Yahhhh!" And she left to do what she was ordered while you two stayed behind. Once the doors closed, you gulped down a nervous lump in your throat and stared Integra in the eye.

"So, what was it that you wanted to discuss, Ms. ________?" She asked as she placed her hands behind her back.

"Well, while every one of us -Alucard, Pip, Seras, and I- were in Rio, Alucard sorta...well, he actually DID make me watch him go on his killing spree..."

"What?! But that's just-"

"A little over the top? Yeah, I know, but that's not why I'm here to talk to you right now." She blinked.

"Really? Then what is the reason behind why you're here?"

You sighed. "During his killing spree...I don't know, I guess he triggered something within me that I didn't really think about until after the whole fiasco."

"He 'triggered' something?"

"Yeah. It was a memory."

"A memory, you say. What kind of memory was it?" You paused to think about it, pacing as you did so. Now, you were certain what you had experienced was a memory, and yet it also felt like a dream. You didn't think you could explain it well enough to her. You just hoped you could try something that would at least give her a gist of what you were saying.

"It was a memory from my childhood. I was at home with my mother and I was describing a drawing to her."

"A drawing?"

"Yeah. Apparently, I drew it because of a dream I had that seemed to have a large impact on my younger self." At that mention, Integra's eyes widened from behind her glasses. A dream? You weren't talking about THE dream, were you? If so, then it looks like now was probably the right time for you to change into a vampire.

"This dream...tell me, what was the main thing you noticed from it?"

"What do you mean?" you asked.

"Like, say I was to ask you to remember only one thing from that dream even though a million things probably happened. What is the thing you remember most?" There was another pause. Your head was lowered as you thought on her question. If there was one thing you could remember from your dream...it would have to be...

"My King." And Integra smiled knowingly. You were just like him, but only slightly.

"________." You stared up at Integra in surprise -since she had never called you by just your first name before- as she regarded you with a look a mother who was wishing her wedded daughter well would give. "There is something I need you to do, but first you must answer me this."

"Alright."

"Tell me, what did this king of yours look like?" You blushed.

"W-well to sum it all up...it looked like Alucard with a mustache of sorts, armor and a cape, blue eyes, and long, wavy hair. He was strong, independent, and just...powerful! He was amazing." You explained to her as you smiled brightly, your eyes practically gleaming like stars.

Integra, who was still smiling as you described your king to her, headed to the double doors that led outside of the dining room. You slowly followed her because you still wanted to know what she wanted you to do. It was probably important.

"Well then, Ms. ________, the first thing you need to do is remember this king of yours. Keep him close to your heart."

"Okay. I can do that."

"Good. Next, I want you to find this king of yours."

"Huh?!" you yelped, obviously confused. "B-but, sir Integra, where am I to look? He might not even exist for all I know!"

Integra chuckled. "Oh, I'm sure he's much closer than you think, Ms. ________." And she left, leaving you to think of her words.

(Back in the basement)

You were now returning to Alucard's room, but this time with a smile. You had figured out the meaning behind Integra's words and wished to ask Alucard a few questions before you went ahead and did anything else, which would undoubtedly break that sexual tension barrier you managed to form in order to keep Alucard at bay. You'd be happy and so would he, but only IF he played his cards right.

Finally spotting the door that led to Alucard's chambers, you touched the cold, brass knob softly until you turned it to enter his domain. You walked inside and opened your mouth to alert Alucard of your return, only to snap it shut once you found him surrounded by empty blood packets, sleeping rather soundly in that large chair of his. You smiled at the sight and decided you would let him rest. So picking up all of the empty blood packets that littered the floor, you tiptoed softly to Alucard, brushed aside his hair that covered his pale-skinned forehead and gave it a gentle kiss.

"Sweet dreams, my beloved king."
