Inspired by 's ClayFighter: Resculpted project, I am illustrating my own ClayFighter OC's! Here is my fifteenth one: Herman!

Herman Marsh, like his grandfather, always thought himself to be a man of the sea. He loved taking walks by the beach, collecting seashells, and going fishing on his yacht. Naturally, his family was not surprised when he landed the job of a marine biologist, diving into the world's deepest ocean trenches in the name of research.

One dive was going smoothly until a freak accident involving a blue whale separated Herman from the rest of his team. He sank to the bottom of the ocean, still clad in the old diving suit his grandfather used to wear, and everyone gave him up for lost. But he had not drowned - he had adapted to the deep blue sea, taking on aspects from sharks, jellyfish and many other different species.

Finally, after a year by himself, Herman has finally resurfaced, unable to return to society due to his mutations. To make matters worse, he cannot get rid of his old, clunky diving suit, lest he suffocate. But what he does have is a harpoon gun and his new abilities. And if he has to go through the many other contenders for the meteor if he wants his wish, to be normal again, granted, then so be it.
