TL;DR- is bear, i like

For my other sonas, I just did it on a whim and chose colors I liked and arbitrarily just made it a cat because I was sorta in the warriors fandom at the time, but for the bear I actually stopped and thought about what I wanted as a sort of channel mascot but also representing me. I chose a bear and gave it really warm colors so it would feel inviting, plus I made sure to havea bunch of round edges. Then I wanted to have a bit of excitement and mischief so the design wouldn't be boring, so I did the asymmetrical sun design below the eye to give it some pop against the browns and also to add a sharp element with the triangular pattern. That makes the design much more interesting as well as multifaceted, and it draws attention to the face, which is the most important part in most characters
