Let me guess: - His middle finger is meant for Charles Vane. If so, I'd find it understandable but Rackham was no better himself. Though Vane was ill-tempered, violent, never having any use of morals or ethics, practicing of whatever any other person finds he'd take for himself, Rackham himself didn't do any better but not because of the same reasons. Instead, it was because of that Rackham could have these words to describe him: - He was a clumsy as he was stupid!
